Yea, Blizz has only been known to do things like purposely gimp specs because they don’t want you to play as that spec. Just because Blizz wants me to play the game a certain way, doesn’t mean I have to actually do it. I play the game to have fun, thus I play it in the way I find fun. The Visions content simply isn’t fun to me, so… I don’t do it.

I linked to the notes from blizzard about the change I mentioned in the previous post, with all of the changes it should be way easier for someone to help you, this week will be a good week for people to have spare keys to help you as someone who is caught up only needs 1 run to upgrade.
Having someone ahead of you on the cloak upgrade can help, they should have more than enough sanity to Rez you if needed right now I barely lose sanity on my dps as long as I can keep killing stuff.

You haven’t given Blizz a single suggestion (outside AIs, which have never worked in the past. Outside purely ST content) though.
And everyone has mobility w/ the 20% Speed food.
You might consider switching your HoA to the Crucible of Flame primary. I find the double azerite blast helps tear down enemies at a good clip. Hits harder than Chastise as well.
Spare keys? From what? We’ll need 1 this week (going into it w/ 2-3). Then 3,6,9 keys. I help others, but not carries. Something tells me, this Priest just gets carried through content

It’s pretty easy, just remove the vessel requirements and let people run them as much as they need to get ranked. Make the difficulty of the encounter the gating factor. Then I can just pull a hopeless pug through by being good at my job, which is healing idiot DK tanks.
That’s what I run along with divine star for my dps rotation. One issue is our aoe is still just awful.

And remove the vessels? Yeah, ok, let’s just entirely change the game because 1 spec ‘can’t’ (can) do it.

We should also start getting 1 or 2 more keys a week with the change Tuesday. That should make it easier to have spares to help carry someone, combines with the change that lost zones will drop flesh pages now that should make helping someone easier.
She has a +12 done, max. This late into the xpac. She calls herself a ‘mythic’ quality raider, while only having 2 N’zoth kills. She’s being carried by her guild

Oh I see. I had just taken a peek at your profile and saw Conflict and Strife, which isn’t as useful for pve content like the flame is.
The entire meta has shifted to soloing so the change is warranted.

I hate BFA, but I would agree with some others here…change specs and see how you do.
Ive had to switch, even have macros for quick spec changes, to get certain parts of the game done.
As far as speed…yeah, Im pretty sure thats why I gave priest up when I tried it. Dead dog slow. I only heal with Shaman now to keep my speed up (and because its my favorite healer anyway now).
Probably dont want to, but IF it were me Id just try another class entirely. Druid or Shaman are both pretty awesome in most regards.

Actually, the ‘meta’ is about to go back to group Visions. We’re all starting to be 475+ ILs. We’ll have our OP Twilight Devastations and other AOE corruptions. We have maxxed out Mother talent trees. So everyone will start 5 masking w/ nearly 1,000 sanity.

This is what I’m talking about. Why on earth would you think this is the answer to hpriest needing some buffs for visions?
Buffs? Specific for 1 class? That’s not how Blizzard does things.

uh…I dont remember even insinuating that? Maybe you need to chill and stop being so defensive over a game?
If the spec needs buffed, so be it. But UNTIL that happens…and it may NEVER happen…the OBVIOUS remedy is try another class.

Cooldown is shortened every time you Smite or heal.
I’m not asking anything. I’m saying there’s nothing wrong with the topic. Hopefully Blizz will get their heads out of their butts and not do dumb stuff next time. But I’m also saying that it’s not going to change how Visions work. So either we adapt and utilize the help given to us or we don’t do the content at all.

As crappy as it is, if you don’t want to make any changes to your current process, this post seems to be pretty moot. I’m sure a pure healing spec is difficult to work with, but you may need to learn your class as a whole, and bite the bullet and spend the gold to change your gear until you get more. Benthic is a good place to go to get alt spec gear, and the min/max stats won’t really be that big of a deal in non competitive play.
If you just play the other specs while doing WQs, you will learn how to use them. Not a spec in this game is that difficult to learn. Smack a dummy for a while, then go out and do some easy stuff to get field training.

Exactly.
Waiting for a buff that likely will never come isnt the most useful way to spend ones time. Id personally just create (or boost) another class and have at least two that I like for those times when Blizzard is feeling a bit spiteful with one of them.
I feel sorry for anyone who mains one class after what they did to my hunter pet early BFA.
I’ll NEVER allow myself to be suckered into playing a single class just so blizzard can trash it some Tuesday morning again and leave me without my favorite class.
