I wonder what OP will think, when everyone finally gets the ‘heal 5 party members’ ring from Mechagon and we start doing M+ without healers (happens at the end of every xpac).

I doubt many of us here actually believe thats ever going to happen.
They continually do stupid crap, then if you talk about it here much they give you a 60 day suspension to keep your dirty ideas out of the heads of other players.

Well maybe if people in the forums started being supportive and optimistic instead of flaming and nihilistic things would be different. Blizzard doesn’t have to drown people out when the rabble does that for them.

Back to the topic at hand… sorry, OP.
Listen, you’re really not going to get much from arguing back and forth about how they need to buff Holy and why they aren’t doing it. Everyone’s easy solution is to just “Play a different spec.” which isn’t the answer you’re looking for and that is ok. However, you’re going to have to accept the limitations we have to the spec for now and work with it.
Looking at your cloak level and more through your profile it’s not possible for you at the moment to FULL CLEAR and really it wouldn’t be possible for any healer to full clear at your current level (you also need Gift of the Titans to even want to attempt a full clear). We are the most disadvantage spec going into solo vision so if you want to be successful then work with the limitations. Only do 1-2 zone clears if you have to solo. I changed my gear, essences, and talents to what I would use to solo visions if you’d like to check. If you have any questions or you want tips for certain areas fell free to ask.

Have you tried using the group finder? Also, try just running through some random dungeons as Shadow to get the hang of it. It’s not that tough. Use passive talents and essences to make things easier. A couple of hours should be more than enough.

Premades were how I learned that grouping was broken. First group they double orbed. Second run someone thought we were just doing boss, raged and spent our orbs before getting kicked. BTW, if the leader kicks you it just wastes your vessel. So gl if you slightly annoy lead and the content will just scale back down. I was at least lucky that I’m not replaceable mid instance as a healer.

First - a word of encouragement: the visions do get easier as you level up your cloak. I can now solo two normal areas and kill the boss with plenty of time to spare as Holy. I’m not sure how things are going to go next week with the harder areas, but I was able to do one normal and one harder bonus area last week with sanity to spare.
Still, I hear what you’re saying about our mobility and our DPS. My guildies took me a long for a full clear last week, but I think it’s going to be a while before I can solo a full clear as Holy. I just can’t move / kill things fast enough. Right now, I can heal through most anything that hits me, but the sanity drain is still challenging.
In terms of advice – it looks like our equipment is relatively the same, but here are some things to consider:

consider changing your level 60 talent from Psychic Voice to Censure. Censure lets you use chastise to lock down a target while you damage it. I’ve figured out what mobs give me the most grief and I lock them down with censure and burn them down first. Basically, chastise, holy fire, and smite until it’s dead.

Kite with holy nova – I’ve found that standing still and casting smite opens me up to a lot of effects that drain my sanity. A lot of the time, I just run in circles spamming holy nova. It’s not pretty, but it keeps me out of nasty stuff. When Holy fire is up, I cast that while kiting.

Know the mobs – this was painful to learn, but I’ve figured out what mobs do what and I prioritize them based on their abilities. The shamens early on in Orgrimmar drop annoying totems, so I lock them down and burn them down first. Also, there’s these mobs in the drag bonus area that will put a nasty stun on me, so they always die first as well, no matter what.

Use buffs - I always use a flask and the food that reduces movement penalties in visions and rune thingies if I have them.

cloak build – I can’t see your cloak talents, but, if you haven’t already, prioritize Emergency Cranial Defibrillation, as it gives you some wiggle room when things go wrong. Also, remember that your cloak gives you an on-use ability that lets you avoid be things for a few seconds.
At any rate - I hope this helps a little.

I’ve had plenty of keys wasted due to jerks, but that’s just part of life.
I’m thinking that maybe a big DPS in 2s is my best bet at this point.
Carrying ppl always nets you less mementos though. When I carry, I can’t use 4 masks. I carry close friends. But asking just a ‘big DPS’ you raid with, but don’t associate w/ outside of raids, is gonna be like pulling teeth to get him to go w/ you.
