Venting as a frustrated healer

Exactly? The dungeons are too hard for them. I think that is the point.

It’s not a good point. If they couldn’t do 12s previously why do they think they can do 2s now?

Because 2s are the starting point.

12s properly tuned are easier than this crap, proven by the fact we have had zero wipes on last boss of Siege since they nerfed it.

If a healer that has been healing mythic+ for 5 years (and getting 2k rating) suddenly can’t do 2s, it’s an issue.

Wrong.

Normals are the starting point.
Then heroics
Then mythic zeros
Then +2s.

Those same people were not going into +12s to start off in DF.

Siege wasn’t even one of the hard keys lol.

You act like 2k rating is high…

That’s stupid. you didn’t go from M0 gear to 12s.

In DF? Yeah.

What higher end players did in DF was hit zeros and then go straight into mythic plus the week it came out.

Congrats on ignoring the rest of the points I made.

Yea I honestly liked the way mythic + was more in DF than TWW. So what if mythic 1-10 was “relatively easy”. It was still a better progression curve than the current, heroic to mythic is just a huge jump in difficulty. There is really no learning curve.

They removed it to condense levels and because people wanted mplus they could Que.

This was there solution.

Nah only heals I play are disc and fist and I still think things needed to change to make healing both more fun and important.

People are at risk of dying, healing is rather important.

Yes now that people are at risk of dying it is quite important. Agree.

What does that have to do with what I said?

What I said is accurate, regardless of any and all other factors. And 80% of players do not comprhend that hps is a capped metric. You can only heal, what exists to be healed.

So when 80% of players look at hps, and see 500k hps on a pull they think Ugh healer sucks and thats why we all got 1 shot.

Sure people are clearing 10s now. less than a QUARTER of ONE percent were clearing them on week one though, and Im confident people still have a sour taste in their mouth from that.

I personally stopped trying to push, because my close circle of friends quit due to the “more play time forced” metric added to the game.

For the first time I’ve seen parties waiting for Healers instead of tanks in a long time.

I pulled up M+ and refreshed a few times with no filters and noticed that 80% of groups that had 4 people were waiting for a Healer instead of a Tank. lol

Of course I too wish that all the single player games do not have any difficulty modes, and that the initial game is too easy to be engaging.

Then I can decree that I have completed the game… (just like everyone else.)

Having something to strive for is fun.

You’re cute. Edit I’ll play nice

When the keystones get harder and harder… by default it will always be challenging. It literally gets harder and harder, infinitely…

The complaint, and im sure you’re smart enough to realize this already… is the absurd amount of time required due to how EXTRA grindy it is right now.

The people that cleared 10s week one probably quite literally played 16 hours a day. OR MORE.

That is insane…

They literally removed the 2-10 bracket to SAVE PEOPLE TIME.

You also don’t need to reach the pinnacle.

It’s like wishing Diablo 4 simply ended at level 50. (No end game, cause that’s grind.)

I completely disagree with everyone rule of thumbing a +2 is a +12.
My first +2 i did with a 578 tank and I was 582 healer, we had 18 deaths and timed the key.
Thats nothing like a 12. I think thats much easier than a 12 ever was.

12s were like that, especially if you did them later.

dude what?
we’re way undergeared and dying 18 times and still making the timer
versus
way over gearing the key and still clearing it?

in s3, you can wipe three times in some keys and still make the timer… on a 20.

+12 would offer far greater leeway.
