Venruki, the peoples champ has spoken ..... again

Not not anymore not compared to WOTLK because its a dead aspect of the game.

Disagree, streamers are marketing tools. Dragonflights main issue is marketing imo. You can hate on streamers all you want but saying they are not worth anything with getting people to buy things is just ignorant.

Companies pay streamers millions to play games on release for this reason.

Also I dont know why you are struggling to understand why having somebody that makes a video that is popular in the community voicing issues with it has less value than you on the forums. Venrukis issues he posted from Shadowlands got fixed, he has far more reach than you do.

Which is unfortunate because ven (or any streamer for that matter) does not represent the average player.

Even if that were the case, it is fundamentally different than someone with an audience having sway over blizzards design choices.

Venruki could be a hermit with no online presence, who wins AWC every year, who is related to blizzard lead pvp devs and able to easily influence pvp development direction and my previous comment would still stand. Him being popular and making videos would have no bearing on your hypothetical here.

Ven is def the peoples champ. If anyone speaks for the common man, it’s him. Even if he’s an elite player.

I just mean he’s more likely to be heard than one of us.

First of all, I don’t hate streamers, never said anything as such. Nor did I ever say they aren’t worth anything or suggest they are not valuable for marketing. The only display of ignorance here is you not understanding the point I made.

You did though

In the context of venruki and pvp they do not.

Oh man that had such a cool trailer. Let us know how it is if you resurface in wow down the line lol

Well i disagree, regardless any good game developer worth there salt dont take in recommendations from people that give feedback, But they do listen to issues people have. I can guarantee you that his video will have more impact on calling out issues in the game like MMR and rewards than your forum post.

Argued this before but… WoW pvp would benefit from switching to a track system where even failure still works you (slowly) up towards rewards.

At the moment, getting into rated play is like hitting a wall. You’re going to be farmed, you might be mocked, and 99% of the playerbase will simply quit - as they feel their time is being wasted. Feeling that they, no matter how slowly, might have a chance to earn the mount, the title, etc? Would help. A lot.

Trailer? Lol … Those trailers are always wack. That isn’t why you play FGs.

I think i disagree. While we might value his opinion, he doesn’t give a kobolds butt about yours or my opinion. Its all an illusion. A character. Im sure hes a nice enough guy though. But he definitely doesn’t represent me anyway.

You think he doesnt want more bad players to play? He gets paid more when more people are playing PVP. As time goes on and less people play wow and wow pvp his revenue goes down.

His issues in the video are rewards and inflation, what about that doesnt represent you

Ahh and there it is.

You wanna respond or just grand stand

I don’t see it being productive to engage with such a speed bump of a reply. Disappointing

Idk it would take a lot of energy to be that fake. I think he comes from a genuine place.

But yeah, no one is perfect.

He tries to listen to what people are saying and puts it into perspective. I’d say he’s an excellent member of the community.

I rest my case. Hes advocating for his own gain. Not mine.

I mean… You asked a question, I simply answered. Your response was seemingly dismissive, or perhaps it was genuine but I can never know in this place.
