What a worthless change.
if this change is only that and not removing the 616 from the vault then this will be fine.
now if they do both then this change is bad
Sadly there are still too many players who live that way and demonstrate that they’re willing to sacrifice a lot of time to reach these goals in the game. I know several of them and it often shows in some forum posts.
For a lot of players WoW is their only hobby and they gladly invest time everyday while claiming they work a lot, do sports several times a week, go out with friends on a regular basis and spend a lot of time with their family as well. But they don’t realize that they plan their life around the WoW schedule and not the other way round, while insisting that such ridiculous requirements can be easily achieved in no time and players should “work” for their equipment.
Yeah they wanted you to do delves in season one, season two they don’t… they’re pushing the metric where they think they want it by making the rewards structure more punishing.
Lol what a lame change.
No fun for alts obviously.
12 delves hahaha. Get out of here Blizzard. No thanks.
Oh cool now I can spend another 20 minutes a week doing delves on each of my 13 toons so I can get a low 616 gear that is 80% of the time useless. I wasn’t excited for the new patch at all and now I’m feeling antiexcited. I don’t like M+ and I will not touch it, I also don’t have the time for organized raiding. Awesome.
Many people are likely already considering not playing season 2 content at all.
Making things worse before it even starts isn’t going to get more people to play or get people to play longer. Whoever made this decision is incompetent and out of touch. They probably think it will increase engagement and playtime metrics but it will fail to do that entirely.
Season 2 was already likely to have less participation than season 1, which is typical in any expansion, but especially uninspiring for this one since TWW S1 was already lackluster compared to previous expansions.
Nah, we hate pointless changes to make the game more grindy instead of focusing on making it more fun.
It’s funny, this kind of change could easily backfire when people think it’s too much for very little and actually end up playing less, doing less delves than they would have before. I’m constantly amazed Blizzard does things like this. I guess I shouldn’t be.
People complain about every grind until an extra grind hits content that they don’t engage in. Then it’s “wHy dOnT yOu lIkE tO grInD bReH?”
I don’t think I’ll do less of them but I certainly won’t be doing more of them. That would reward the dog for crapping on the floor again.
same way if they dont change the vault rewards i will be doing 6 delves
if they do ill just do 3
I’m fine with either but I’m not losing my mind over it.
I will not be doing 6 delves for the second reward. I will get my first slot and tap out then move to the next toon.
i have bad luck lol just got my weapon before the 20th anniversary hit and the rest was trinkets lol
Why are you trolling this thread so hard lol. Absolute nonsense and you know it.
Because they love M+ and hate delves.
Weapon is a slot easily filled by professions. Trinkets aren’t. I think I crafted weapons for 3 out of my 4 “main” characters. On both of their specs in the case of the DPS/tank toons.
I’m not either but unless the vault is made more lucrative I’m not going to let the tail wag my dog for delve engagement.
I don’t even deny that. In fact 1 of my guild mates I raid with gets annoyed by how I am always saying how lazy I am. Time is money. Time is limited. For example; 5 timewalking dungeons for 1 heroic item? Nah. Too much work for an RNG reward.
Delves are time consuming. I barely cared to do 2 for 1 vault slot, especially when I can do 1 dungeon.
But then again raiding is what I most enjoy and I am fine with only the raid section having slots. And I also have 65 toons, so I once had a single dungeon vault slot opened on 30 toons in a single week. I just find it a waste to open 3-6 slots to only get to pick 1 item. I rather just unlock 1 item and hope it’s something I need.
Ugh that’s lame. 13 a week on one character is a bit much to ask as delves are now. It’s at least 30-40 minutes a run solo.
What sucks is I will still be doing them, can’t even be like “guess I work play them” or anything.
Oh well. Hopefully they will revert that change and it was just for testing.
Don’t you know the best way to make a boring activity more fun is to do more of it?
