duuude i cast a spell every 5 minutes. thats not afk!!!

i spent 12 hours a day for the first 3 days of wotlk prepatch farming av/wsg and not once did i afk and i got a 30 day suspension. i suppose doing the objective in av is means for a suspension (backcapping towers, running to drek/vann and killing him) now i dont get any of the wotlk prepatch event items on my main character all because i enjoyed doing bgs.

Still no response on the ban appeal, at all. Going on night number 2 now… Keeping everyone posted as things turn out.

You probably wont hear from them for a while. Long holiday weekend and I’m sure their one intern that has been assigned to look over all the automotive bans is currently wishing he didn’t take the internship. lol

Then stop going AFK in BG’s and you won’t have this problem…
Finally Blizzard is penalizing you toxic players.
And you were not randomly banned per the blue post you get an AFK debuff and if you do not do damage in a certain period of time you’re simply removed from the match you have to receive the AFK debuff on multiple Battlegrounds before you get banned.
Thank you blizzard for cleaning this toxicity out of the game!

When I play AV and since way before this ban wave went out. I notice horde don’t like to play D. So, I just followed the heard to Van’s room and stand there and watch him and his war masters for about 10 mins before we start to attack him. AV is not fun and Im glad I dont need honor or gear on my main or alt toons. =)
weird i didnt get a single debuff and still got banned almost like they started to test splunk (the ai they use to ban botters) on banning people for other violations and it just wasnt 100% accurate with this recent ban wave.

There is a reason behind the name… back in vanilla no one like bring rogues to raids. So, I named my rogue Asset. =)
Let’s suppose every AV, I go and help cap Icewing Bunker, or Tower Point, Or Stonehearth bunker, etc.
I stay until it burns.
Then I leave to join the rest of my team up north/down south who is fighting Drek/Van.
That’s generally the way I do AV.
Sometimes the other faction doesn’t try to backcap, sometimes the game ends before I get to Van/Drek. After all, they usually pull when those towers burn. So I get into no PVP.
Let’s say I play 100 AV games, and in 20 of those games, I get no PVP.
Should I be banned?

Ironically was backcapping bunkers and killing players with a friend for extra honor, it gives 21 honor splits if u solo enemy players at max level in AV. So I wonder if half my reports were from this or something of the which.
Thats textbook 2022 AV right there…i played like 200 AVs over the weekend, got full brutal, never afk’d wake up monday to a ban…
