9 hours ago the minute I was suspended. Guessing we all got nailed at the exact same time. so whenever you got dropped is a safe bet.

i am actually not surprised blizzard rarely overturns bans.
My ban was just recently overturned as well. Hope this helps set some of you at ease and ty for the work you do actually participating at those towers. I did the same and i think they saw that.

WOW is cracking me up!
It is really amazing how, since Blizzard doesn’t automatically ban people without a thorough investigation, the actual real live human GMs made the same mistake thousands of times over the course of a couple days!
The “combat log” includes a number of things other than combat. Movement, for instance (although not the degree of it in the public version - just movement), is included as is an indication of actually going AFK.
I would absolutely love to see one stream recording from one of these “I was defending a base and got suspended for going AFK when I didn’t actually go AFK” claims, but in 17 years, I never have.
If it’s that common, someone, somewhere had a stream of it and that no one has produced one, it feels a lot like, “I got caught out and I’m making excuses now so I can whine on the forums.”
You can not link stuff on the public forms. I put in my ticket to blizzard the streamed attached gameplay. Just awaiting ticket response.

Since the long weekend just ended, Blizzard has a lot of work to do…parsing all those logs, hopefully most of you didn’t do anything wrong and will have their ban lifted shortly.
However do keep in mind that there’s people actually AFKing, they do it because they were able to do it before without consequences.
A appeal wave went out already and people got unbanned.
AVs/Wsg last night were so wonderful though. In 5 AVs I only found one person not contributing.
Hope the degenerates intentionally being lazily leveling and getting gear aren’t back.
I’m gonna go ahead and guess that all y’all have a different definition of “AFKing” in a BG and just assume that y’all were AFKing in a BG. Next time, just play the game you’re paying money to play!
