This was my thought process, why the time-gating on content that will become obsolete in a week?
How Blizzard couldāve done this right: Start off this event on the 2nd week of the pre-patch as it is right now, then progressively ramp up the events and scourge until xpac launch. But nope, we get this mediocre event to signify one of the single-greatest threats Azeroth has faced in the past coming back to haunt us, and it feels like less of a threat than the Naga posed in patch 8.2.

Iām out of likes, but I still lolād.
I went from 62 to 94in one sitting, with plenty of time to watch x-files reruns. How much more reasonable do you need it?
just get infected and explode yourself on them
Worst pre-patch ever. It is a literal copy paste and itās so so so bad.
I have to add my voice to the request for faster rare respawns. Killing a rare in 1 minute, flying to the next spawn, and waiting 20 minutes isnāt very fun.

I have never posted before and I may never post again. But I just had to log in so I can say this. Man is this pre - patch a steaming pile of stanky horse excrement or whatā¦ Itās like the boys got together on beer night and slapped some content together while drunk AF and thought, yeah thatāll satisfy the simps for a week, then they left it as is, half baked. The quality overall stinks, like everything about it sucks imo.
That being said I love WoW as a whole and really hope SL is great.

I opened a ticket due to the no loot due to being dead bug for Natahanos, GM said it was hotfixed and I could kill him again and get class appropriate loot. I was able to and did get it, however I also tried to kill him again with my mage who got a one handed sword, and got no loot. So it seems they reset him just for that ALT, to be fair I think a large portion of people who did this encounter didnāt get appropriate loot and he should be reset for all players to redo rather than wait a week to try again.

Just came back to play shadow land. When the pre earth event came it was better, mobs were easy to kill, span rates for NPC to farm items are quick and items isnāt bad. I quit mod way in legion and I would say this event isnāt bad but not great. Mobs for quest could spawn more often and easier to kill. Havenāt try the nathron quest yet so not sure how good or bad. Did the new dailies in icecrown and got a new piece of armour.
I would say if I am just getting up one to two character before shadowland it should be doable but anymore character it would be hard. Not sure if anyone remember but back then for the warth pre expansion it was a nightmare in towns everyone keeps dying, canāt event go to towns coz you get infected and just keeps dying.
I donāt really consider 2 or 3 ghouls here and there as an invasion or a rampage, Blizzard. But better luck next time.

Absolutely cannot belive they made the Ghouls only appear in Warmode this is an absolute joke and really says alot of the state of the playerbase who cant handle any sort of external sense of urgency to thier gameplay.
I expected nothing and am still disappointed.

Didnāt they set it up so the zombies wonāt show unless you are in war mode, something about people being whiny about zombie levels on prepatch
the main dev is a single character pver, thatās why alts and pvp suck now, everything feels like a huge grind, and why WoW is dying.
