[UPDATED] Mage and Paladin Tuning Incoming - July 18

OIC is this you? Nerfing Hpal the wrong way

If they are going to nerf Holy Paladin then they need to do the same with Aug evokers and Guardian druids.

This is just to much Blizzard. Hpala was finally good and you took a big number 2 on it for pvp people thats the minority playerbase.

Wr had 1 week of fun. Now its back to the bottom again.

Ellesmere in shambles…Now he can hold his defensives for s3.

So Fire :fire: mage has always been my favourite class theme and when I saw the changes finally coming to them, I jumped onto my mage and tested it.

My survivability definitely increased, and my damage output was much more enjoyable. Adding Flamestrike for Hot streak should have been a thing ages ago.

In terms of Damage, I will say while SKB is going to be in its current setup, it is highly unlikely any other play style will be encouraged. The amount of damage I can slam out with 1 SKB powered pyroblast is overwhelming, and it is pretty easy to build up the buff again.

I will say this though, only yesterday I went past a camp of elites and I could barely handle 2 at a time…meanwhile nearby a Ret Paladin was handling some 20 elite mobs with their health barely dropping to half before walking away, so….

Holy Paladin currently regens 5000 mp5 in PvP, which is a 50% reduction. Where are you getting a 25% current decrease and what does this nerf actually mean?

It’s not a matter of being “the top”, it’s a matter of being a zero skill expression ability with massive passive effects and huge throughput + buffs.

also - what? No. I’m on the paladin discord though, where everyone with a brain and pulse expected Tyr’s to get dunked.

Tyr definitely should have gotten nerfed but the general nerfs are horrible.

Light of Dawn felt weak after they nerf it and noe they are getting nerfed again

Still no tuning for the UNDERPERFORMERS, so fun being bottom tier damage.

If it had been left alone, it would’ve been where they’re “fixing it”.
What a debacle.

They need to completely separate PVP and PVE. Like, an entire different talent tree and abilities in pvp, with pve removed once you enter any kind of arena or other thing. In fact, make pvp flagging keep you in pvp talents and abilities in real world, unless you enter a dungeon or raid, then you get auto-flagged to PvE talents and abilities.

They created this problem and the solution is to nerf the side-effect of the class they introduced.
Perfect…

Way way too heavy. Why is holy not allowed to do well?

Absurd. You ruin the QoL for healers in this game on all fronts. Then you give us a decent healer just to nerf bat it down again. FIX YOUR HEALER PROBLEM. Stop putting classes down. Actually fix it and make all healers truly viable.

Can we please just get a new dev team at this point? A Blanket 5% nerf seems a bit much especially the week after patch release. For the first time, frost and fire are starting to actually feel good- not OP, but that’s just me.

Oof, Pally Too? Aren’t these both specs that just got fun?

I’ve pugged 19+ with no problem.

What healer problem ?

The problem wasnt that other healers needed to be buffed. The issue was a mediocre player was unkillable and could make matches last eight minutes and still not be out of mana

Everyone not expecting nerfs for holy is an absolute noob and did not understand the the class at all

Well, it was good to be good for a week fellow Pallys. :frowning:
