no but when you even copy the animations from GW2 instead of doing your own its pretty much just a big rip off.
Iâm not sure I get this take.
How is it an attack on your ability to fly? You can fly almost immediately, you can âdragonflyâ much faster than you could regular fly.
Is it just the minimal effort that seems to be required to Dragonfly thatâs putting you off?
No because the way you said it . If you said that you think reg flying was too strong with out the snarky part then that be opinion .
Easy because 1) it is dragon glide not flight so you need height to get anywhere. 2) if you have to land you have to find somewhere high to take off from to get anywhere.
Thatâs how Soar works - the Dracthyr racial⌠thatâs not how Dragon Flying actually works. Plenty of videos of people taking off from the ground.
Is that the one with vigor when that runs out it still a glider ?
Once you maxed out your Dragon its pretty easy to keep your vigor up, it takes very little skill you can fly completely across the whole map or up the highest mountain from the ground. If you run out and have to land, your recharge rate if very fast. And all this you can spend about an hour at the start of the xpac to get your dragon fully skilled.
Have to try it out and see if i have problems with it hope it not like ( worm mount i call them ) that weave back and fro my body feel icky .
Yeah I worry about this too. I used to get motion sick in Outland in the first zone just because the land was tilted. I am also legally blind in one eye. It turns out you need 2 working eyeballs for more than just depth perception. I struggle with all sorts of things (like tracking multiple moving objects at once) in game already. Blizzard seems to think that weâre all like tweens to 20s with perfect vision, reflexes, etc. At least they added the motion sickness items for Grimrail Depot.
I understand your issues, but they shouldnât hold back making a fun addition that a lot of people will find fun.
They do take accessibility into consideration, and even added a follow option. I donât know if theyâve added other tools since then, but I do remember they were aware of motion sickness as a problem.
You do have to engage with it in some form, but flight paths should still get you everywhere you need to go.
Well too bad. Seriously not a joke people complain whatever is in a game so from a business side you just have to chalk up âwell some wonât like this butâŚâ
Itâs a no win situation someone will always cry.
Lol Blizzard puts so much emphasis on Dragon riding, even their commercial displays mostly dragon flying around . Like is this whatâs supposed to draw me in??
Yes? Itâs one of the big features being introduced. The video, however, does a terrible job at showing you what it can do.
Oh yes, Iâm very enthused
Iâll see you on launch day!
True. But they had the chance to make it a win for everyone but the full-on anti-flying crowd by having both DR and regular flying available at launch. Why make a bunch of folks mad for no reason? If DR is so much better, people would have gravitated to it anyway.
please please do not make these things mandatory to progress thru story or anything elseâŚthey should be a CHOICE to use/not use.
Itâs like a stinkin mini gameâŚI just want to flyâŚnot tumble, flip flop, or look forâŚrunes? so I stay in the air.
SOME folks do not find this fun at allâŚmotion sickness, headachesâŚ
please make this a choice to play or not play with
It kinda cracks me up how they act like itâs so revolutionary.
Itâs basically a worse version of GW2 mounts lol
I sm looking forward to it. My only concern is how many times will I have to do it as I play every class on both horde and ally (yes I am a gluton for punishment). While the last couple of times they adjusted how we do it with alts but usually not until I have had to do it with serveral classes.
It would be nice to have the dragon riding skill tree be account, or at least server, wide. Going after all those glyphs on every character is going to be tedious, at least to me.
