Upcoming Class Tuning Changes – March 29

LOL Someone on the team finally got around to playing Feral.

Scratches Head I am genuinely confused with what you are talking about. What buff? Do we need I am saying we need our 4pc tuned to be better then 1 second every 60 Fury spent. This ain’t about friggin damage my guy its about our big CD getting around 45 seconds to a minute off its cooldown with a set bonus, we barely see that because some of us have to hold our Meta for certain phases on bosses or spots in M+. This means that if we Meta at the start of a fight, theres a good chance that, yes we might see a shorter reset of Meta, but if were holding it, whats the point?

I dunno how I need to explain this but here goes, MORE COOLDOWNS = MORE DAMAGE, so how are they supposed to change your 4 pc, you don’t need anymore damage because your class is PERFECTLY FINE. You here asking for changes for a class that is doing well when others ACTUALLY SUFFERING.

If you read the DH forums youd know how, there are plenty of suggestions that were ignored, they can do either one of the following, 2 seconds for every 60 fury Spent OR 1 for every 30 Fury spent.

I switched from Discipline to Holy and am loving it…. But, RIP Disc Priest :sob:, really used to enjoy it also, it’s literally bottom tier in both raiding and M+

Echo used a disc priest in their world first clear of the raid.

Maybe you should have messaged them to let them know they were doing it wrong?

This and it might as well be the easiest one. If the hardest specs were the worst, why would anyone play them?

Please don’t do nerfs. I understand you guys want balance but nobody likes to see nerfs. Just let the meta settle and let people reroll or have fun. Survival hunters for instance haven’t been good all expansion and now you guys are going to nerf them

I will take them since my main is feral but I would have thought assassination rogue was weaker.

Now fix the following for hunters

  1. Pet tank can not hold or get aggro at all. With the new zone, the little robot turns off a growl.
  2. feign death no longer drops agro at least 59% of the time.
  3. Haste is just a broken look at numbers. I had 48% one time and it made zero difference compare with 12% haste.
  4. beastmaster has two spells that do the same damage but one has a higher energy cost. cobra shot cost 35 and arcane cost 40. Why?
  5. reduce the cost for some spells. Your little one under bar hits zero with just two spells most time.

And I still can’t fly in the maw. You guys have better things to work on than nerfs

If they did, those numbers would be significantly higher, as well as an addition of some utility spells or leader of the pack buff to make Feral competitive to bring over boomkin.

3s of Seraphim and a chance on a 12% proc off auto attack to reset Wake of Ashes says hello lmao.

Some tier set bonuses really jut don’t have the same love as others.

At least DH is halfway decent by itself, Ret has a poor bonus, underperforms, and doesn’t even make up with good AoE, nor a powerful raid buff.

I feel your pain though, Blizzard just honestly has to do better with its balance in general. Yes we like and want tier sets, but we don’t want it to be at the cost of already unwanted specs/classes being even more unwanted.

I would argue that middle of the pack is too low when you consider that they are middle of the pack compared to other specs with other options.

When it comes to spec they are middle of the pack, but if you instead simply compare classes they instantly drop to bottom of the pack.

Affliction may be hurting but swapping to Demo instantly puts you to the top of the pack and buffs to Destro gives you options there. Same with BM and having flexibility with Survival or MM.

I would also consider flexibility of output as well, with Ret and Shadow for example not really providing any real offset through AoE. Leaving them both underwhelming in almost all situations.

Being bad at in one situation isn’t so bad if you really excel at another. Being poor in all situations is where you really have an issue.
(Even BM which is struggling sees use on Mythic Halondrus, I expect due to it’s mobility and ability to handle mechanics)

Ok, so let’s just look at the 12 classes not specs.

Where should shadow fall?

Which class should be at the bottom?

Should a pure dps classes top spec still be worse than the other 11 classes? Should it be a hybrid with only 1 dps spec like shadow/Ret/WW?

BUFF Resto Druid Damage!

Uhhh no we aren’t.

So will this affect PVP? At this point all three druid specs will be easy mode for PVP with these buffs.

Yeah you are, boomkins are pretty much the easiest spec to play next to marksmanship with hunters. Stop with the coping.
