OMG thank you thank you thank you
Wth are these numbers? These seem like random tweaks more than well tested balances.
“These classes are weak. What do we do?”
“Slap em with 5% across the board. Doing any actual math is way too costly.”
Probably because Elemental has been struggling a whole lot in M+ since their stuff got nerfed earlier. They cover a huge range from “underperforming” to “mid pack” to “strong” in Raids depending on ilvl / difficulty (even when keeping the same percentile selected), but they’re low in M+.
No buff for shadow priest? But buffing two specs doing better than them. … k
Seriously, it’s not even the damage that I’m bitter about (though I am) it’s that I feel boxed into playing particular covenant(s) (Necrolord and Night Fae) just to not waste tier. I’ve basically semi-retired my Hunter because of how badly they made BM punish me for playing Venthyr. Maybe I’ll go MM and just press Aimed Shot, but I’ll still be unhappy because I’ll still end up playing Night Fae.
because all the mythic raiders are using them in the race so there for they must wait until after the race to nerf the top 10% of player classes if they are even going to do that.
this just means the broken classes are meant to be broken…lol.
If you all wanted to just push Shadow Priests out, just say so! It’s been nice run Blizzard
Shadow seems mid pack just like WW and Ret (the other 2 classes with 1 dps specs).
Is mid pack too low?
Or, how much of a % deviation should their be between specs and how should it be measured?
When your only niche is ST damage middle of the pack is beyond bad.
So Mistweavers as healers are getting one damage buff?
K.
Did you even read the rest of my post? Our ST is fine so is our AoE because of Double Lego… But ONLY because of double lego. Thats my point, on top of our 20% buff we get from our 2pc but its our 4pc that needs attention.
Resto shaman is fine
For Beast Mastery, I’d actually like if they reverted the change to increase beastial cleave duration and instead make it empower the hunter’s multishot damage instead by 100% (subject to the 5 or 8 target damage reduction).
It feels REALLY clunky right now when having a large group of mobs and also makes it basically pointless when you have up your wild spirits and are spamming it over and and over with large groups for mythic+. Plus it makes keeping track of the duration in the background a bit off pacing this late in the expac.
I was surprised to see the elemental shaman buff considering they’re middle of the pack and are getting a massive 5% buff, whereas beast master is basically bottom of the pile with destro/afflication locks and only getting 3%…
And did you read my post? How do you expect them to buff your 4pc without buffing DH, you don’t need buffs, are you planning on only using 1 legendary?
Not to shabby for feral druids I have to say.
wtb aoe bleed effect on beast cleave
Wtb tier that doesn’t make me lose dps by choosing Venthyr.
Mw is perfectly fine from a healing viewpoint, at least in pve.
Just want to put it out here - very obvious these changes are for PvE, but I want to share my thoughts on what needs to be done to these respective classes in PvP:
-
Unholy DK: Nerf survivability against DoT classes. Buff defensives against Warriors.
-
Feral Druid: Balanced as is. No need for damage buff in PvP.
-
BM Hunter: Nerf damage in PvP. Nerf defensives against DoT classes.
-
Mistweaver Monk: Nerf healing throughput against DoT classes. Buff survivability against Rogue / Mages.
-
Outlaw Rogues: Buff overall survivability to differentiate this spec.
-
Ele Shaman: Buff survivabilty against melee. Unviable without playing with Fire Mages, Warlocks who can provide spammable CCs on melees.
-
Destruction Warlock: Nerf 4-piece bonus. That’s it.
-
Warriors: No change. Good buff on Ignore Pain.
Also, BUFF Shadow Priest damage.
