while it’s obscenely rare to get to 119%
seeing 350k hits of deathsweep, 250k bladedance hits, 400k hunt hits, 200k essence break non crits (the on use ability)
are all things i’ve seen regularly enough
there’s no good reason even if it’s only a 1% chance should an ability exist that flat out kills you if it procs
should all arenas have a constantly rolling dice that has a 1% chance to instantly randomly kill 1 player in the arena?
what if it only happens to you once every 8 games? still fine if you’re auto killed for no reason?

the change is good but still offers a pretty stupid amount of variance that will swing damage so much completely randomly without requiring the dh player to be better or worse than any other dh to achieve

The pvp multiplier is currently ~.57 as there is a 75% bonus to regrowth in pve that is not applied in pvp, a 0.0 pvp coefficient. 1.75*.57 = 1. That reduction is changing to .8, 1.75*.8 =1.4.
It’s not a 20 or 23% increase, but rather a 40% increase that will be accomplished by increasing the pvp coefficient on the feral druid hidden passive from 0 to 0.53 of 75%.

I’ve gotten up to 800k crits from upheaval, but that was last season. I miss the old days of upheaval 1 shots
If that’s how the math works out then it’s definitely a little better. I still want regrowths to feel how they did in Shadowlands but we’ll see when this goes live.

If going to nerf UH, nerf arms, lock, boom, ele, BM, and rogues while at it. Or buff few other classes.

atm i think unholy is stronger than dh outside of insane chaotic disposition rolls
once dh smooths out we’re going to see an absurd influx of tsg demodk bmdk wwdk ect
there’s really no reason the current unholy assault should be 20%
when it was a WORSE bonus it had a 50% modifier on it LOL
i do think that destro, boomkin, arms, ele could all use tuning tho obviously
unholy is just the most common/egregious it’s just completely overshadowed by how public dh is

It’s a class that has damage in exchange of paper defensives which gets properly exploited at 2100. uDK has been maintaining 47% winrate above 2100 according to Arenalog.
The class needs to be buffed significantly in terms of defensives to compensate, or leave the damage high to enable the current playstyle of having offensive pressure as a form of defense.
Gutting damage in second week of s1 on 1 ability made this class actually unplayable until halfway through s2. Some rot pressure classes like DK, feral, and aff locks should have higher damage over other classes.

Also to add to your post, literally only needed 2 stacks of old disposition to surpass new max stacks. Like you said it’s a healthy change for RNG one shots some dudes are getting without even knowing what they are doing.

I think the entire wow community along with their mothers and dogs can realize that the biggest design flaw with FDK centers more around their survivability and predictable gameplay, quite remarkable how far off they are, but they must double down because its too late to save their tier set probably (or the spec, lol)

Man, a class that stacks full mastery and vers will hit hard on globals than classes that stacks haste and have faster globals but hit less per hit. Only if there was a way to compare overall damage and not a fringe case, I’m assuming that you are at least sentient enough to understand that 140k clawing is a rare case.

Get used to six figure damage numbers being common. 200k isn’t what is used to be.
