perhaps stay off the forums crying about things you don’t know

True. Great way to drive away the potential new customers they might have just gotten.

I hope Blizzard intends on refund shadowland purchases as well.

$19.95 isn’t reasonable.

Xbox game pass and disney sub combined are less then that price and you dont need to purchase expansions.

im sorry but this is the final straw for me.

Still don’t get the blizzard specific hate here, every single publicly traded company will do this to their player base (Ignore minorities). You cannot expect blizzard to fix our localized problems unless the money they get from us increases, and they have clearly done the maths and doing so will not bring in more players willing to spend money on their products.

If you want a say in how blizzard does business become a shareholder or be part of a significant consumer base.

Imagine making us pay more money to play a game when they don’t even have the decency to give us a proper day-night cycle.

I’m so sick of it being night-time in-game when it’s actually like 3-4pm in real life.
Even our calendar is useless.

Again for the people in the back(like me before I was corrected) NZ pricing is actually MORE expensive than us along with almost all “developed” nations localized pricing

Yeah this is the major issue and there are so many minor bugs they just refuse to acknowledge.
A simple fix would have been to just make this item and it’s counterpart easier to obtain and actually work until cancelled instead of 2 hours on a 12 hour cd.

They could also have softened the blow but putting out a post like a week ago letting us know they plan to fix all these issues and people would be like. I guess it’s worth it if they paying attention to us.

6.5b bln USD company making huge profits is hiking up the sub fee for a country mid-recession and during a pandemic with record unemployment rates to loyal customers.

It’s very sad and dirty that they’d do this, especially now. Anyone defending a company sucking more money out of its consumers especially at a time like this is a brainwashed paypig. This is the first time in over a decade i’ve begun to feel like the sub isn’t worth it anymore.

Just want to add my voice to this forum. I have two accounts and my wife has one. So been paying for 3 accounts basically since vanilla, with some downtime here and there. I was thinking of introducing my son to WoW one day, and potentially giving him his own account. After this announcement, I unfortunately will not be doing that. It also means that I most likely won’t be able to pay for three accounts, which will ultimately mean that we will all stop playing. It is sad to think this may be it, but I suppose there was a part of me that always knew WoW would eventually end. Just assumed it would become free to play when WoW2 came out or something.
Suppose blizz increases cost by a couple of dollars but will instead be loosing close to $16 x 3 per month instead. ;/

Wait till you see what the pharmaceutical companies have been doing for years for life saving medicine :open_mouth: random 300% price increases for insulin because they know consumers/governments will pay it literally no difference. Welcome to capitalism comrade

Call it capitalism or whatever, it’s anti consumer and the most scummy timing possible. People justified the tmog wings by saying they wouldn’t hike the sub costs up. I’m sure they’ll find some way to cope with this too.

I took this time to end my three subs, as it adds up to be too much when I’m not doing much in game at this deadzone point. I’ll be back for TBC though for a while. I guess they saw we have no COVID and thought ‘get their cash!’

This is just dismissal, but anyway, the third option is ‘vote with your wallet’ and is the most effective.

What the hell?
That’s almost 22 USD per month. You’re gouging the Aussies for absolutely no bloody reason.

What the actual hell?

Of course, there’s no reasoning for it. If you’re gonna hike the Aussies then hike everyone else.
