I was running around the maw just fine, it’s as soon as I touched the torghast portal that everything blew up.

After about 20 attempts i could wiggle free by backing up as soon as i log in
exactly what happened to me
I also logged out in torghast before the maintenaince and have been unable to log in on my character due to world server down problem.
just tried to start an alt into shadowlands and i can confirm same is happening when trying to start intro quest , so basically unplayable .
Same issue - forever stuck zoning into Torghast. Been unable to wiggle out of the portal in the brief second I appear before getting stuck in the zoning loop
I’d imagine they are fixing the heart of the issue (which would obviously be Torghast) before fixing everyone’s issue of being stuck.
If they didn’t do this, those same people would try jumping right back into Torghast and get stuck again.

Same issue here. . . .about 2 hours now. . .
Is there any time frame on when the current issues are going to be resolved? This is my main toon stuck as it is the same for many others. I feel we at least deserve to know a time frame.

Same, I logged off and It keeps saying the World Server is down. RIP my Lock

Moderator just says theyre working on it… If you attempt to back up upoin logging in, you may be able to free yourself from the loop. i succeeded
It would really help others if they did an announcement via the client honestly, especially since it’s not just a minor handful of players experiencing the problem.

Im having the same issues as well. Can’t load. and once it kicks me out and then loads back in again. I closed and reopend it and i would still have the same issue

Yup my Character is stuck… with the whole world server is down. Even though i can log onto other characters.

I’m sure Orlyia is feeling the pressure. There isnt much she can do as she doesnt operate blizzard but a bit more information would help.

Posting here to say that I’m having the same issue. I am in an constant cycle of loading. Can’t move because I’m standing directly on the portal.
Very frusterating.
