Hello, my character Madknight-Stormscale is stuck. See:

Stuck when zoning into SoD

On Thursday, I was in a Heroic Sylv Pug until, one pull where we wiped at the p2-p3 transition and the raid bugged leaving us all stuck in the Arbitor’s room when we released with no way out except hearthing (anduin was there to kill us but no sylv). On Saturday I joined a different pug for heroic sylv and, upon entering the instance I was left with a permanent loading screen. I had been experiencing some weird lag in the maw so after trying a bunch of things like deleting my wtf/cache/interfa…

Can you move my hero or is it possible to somehow fix whatever is keeping me out of the raid zone?

Dont think theres a way to bypass the cooldown.

Anyone else reading this anti has done a full UI reset.

Thanks @Perl. I already did this in game - just to be safe I tested with another lvl 60 and went in to fresh SoDs normal and heroic without issue. This either only applies to my one character or when logging into a Sylv SoD

That still sounds like somehting a corrupted ui would do I would try another full UI reset.

Forgive my ignorance, but aside from renaming/deleting Interface/WTF/Cache folders is there anything else I need to do? I’ll try it but I don’t really see how or why it’d work a second time.

Based on where you’re posting from, you may be affected by the issues being reported here:

Edit 8/15/2021 This appears to have been mostly fixed by Wave and/or Blizzard. I know the Sylvanas fight has a lot going on and that area may be a little tougher on your connection. So that + the ISP issues reported might be what is contributing to the character problem.

I do see you have a ticket open though so hopefully the GMs will be able to take a look at that for you soon.

To be clear its not lag in the fight itself its zoning into SoD in a raid that is cleared up to sylv.

Hehe no worries, I’m very used to it!

There are a lot of things that are involved in live service games like World of Warcraft, and hiccups along any of that chain can cause strange problems.

So when we see a problem loading into a character, and we know that there are connection issues under a specific ISP then we tend to lean in that direction when troubleshooting starts.

I’m glad the VPN proved to be a workaround. Hopefully the ISP issues will be resolved soon.
