So basically they are going to make her the Jailor… she’s going to be the Thrall to the Dragonflights during the fight against Deathwing.
The cinematic is the best we’ve ever had. It’s incredible. It’s riveting, and most of all, Sylvanas doesn’t die! It’s an A+ and I can’t wait for more Sylvanas.
And Zovaal tearing everything apart!
The effects of the cinematic were cool and all but I’m really not looking forward to another ridiculous Grommash style ending for the expansion where she’ll be lauded as the hero of all things and we’ll have a cinematic of the Night Elves and her other victims mindlessly cheering the woman who was slaughtering not so long before.
I swear my goldfish has a longer memory than most WoW NPCs

The way the story unfolds at a crawl, missing vital details to flesh it out along the way, all while being told “THE TWIST WILL SHOCK YOU” when something not that shocking is coming will guarantee the sort of reactions we typically see.
None of this changes the boat the complicit Horde or decimated Nelves are in either. The story continues to forget there are players. It’s an MMORPG. Stop it.

Woooow really? Illidan ruthlessly brought war across Azeroth, killing tens of thousands, including civilians?
I’m not simping for Teldrassil here, I’m just comparing Illidan to Sylvanas as you just did and not seeing the comparison by any stretch. Please tell me, backed with proper lore sources and not head canon, how does Sylvanas in any way compare to Illidan? And please be prepared to extensively cite lore as I will in my rebuttal.

I thought the cinematic was awesome. I could care less about Sylvanas here because I was more interested in what they’d do with the Jailer, and I really like it. He’s now beginning to come into his own as this sort of “Godlike Lich King” which I’m a big fan of.
Though if I do want to say anything about Sylvanas, she’s not going to be forgiven, and she’s not on our side. The reason she freed the Jailer in the first place is so they could redo the entirety of the Shadowlands, so she’s still against us, but now in custody and feeding us information so we can figure out where the Jailer is headed.
I don’t really see an issue beyond the player-created fears over a potential complete redemption arc. Which, if that does happen I will be in the camp of people who is angry with the story, but I don’t exactly see that happening unlike some of the doomsayers.

Two things have highly disappointed me with “Systemsland” the fact the game is awful to play (i can only post cause my last sub isn’t out yet) and how garrosh died (again). I kinda of wanted his story to continue maybe as leader of the maw when we take out the jailor. I was very disappointed by that. Anyways i knew sylvanas would get redeemed i kept saying it since BFA and i’ll keep saying it.
There are dates worse tha death.

I wonder what cinematic you are talking about. Most everything I have seen has been 1080p and I can see pixels.
It is super pathetic that once upon a time Blizzard produced totally amazing cinematics of epic quality that energized the player base on all sides. Go ahead, look them up!
Did they fire most of their staff, did they all quit? Don’t blame covid is the reason Sylvanas is monochromatic. That is just bad art.
The story? Pfffffft…
Tyrande kinda looked cool, I’ll give you that but that is all. Although her eyes look creepy like that. I’m imagining this is the ‘cinematic’ you are talking about.
Do not praise them for subpar quality and story. It is cheap and lazy, that is all.
