Starting to wonder if that’s the case, along with the fact that many are former vanilla warriors who still have the mindset from back then that Ret is still toilet tier.
Roger also made interesting points about entitlement.
But again, my fight isn’t with all warriors everywhere. Just ones like Blade.

Paladins couldn’t deal with only having two S tier specs, now we’re forced to all discuss how to best balance WoTLK.
I’m good with that.
My next request would be to look at warriors. Shocking, I know.
I’d prefer nobody had been buffed, personally.
That’s a valid no changes stance to have, but we both know it’s different for you. It really got under you skin that it was Ret that was buffed first.
Ret is 5k dps behind in single target during icc, they still need more buffs tbh.
I love that they’re mad that ret got buffed from c tier to all the way up to c tier

The devs gave up on the idea of specs doing bad damage just because they were good at healing or tanking waaaaaay back in the first time we did TBC.
The devs to this day wouldn’t take that argument seriously. They might have nerfed prot or holy, but they wouldn’t have left Ret in the dumpster just because it had other good roles.
Same, honestly. I’m not a fan of the ilvl changes, pre nerf content, other content tuning, removal of RDF, etc., Etc.,
I just wanted wrath as it was. Rets being bad at first didn’t even really bother me. I was still playing one.
I understand why the buffs to ret happened, but I’d have rathered the forums not have devolved into a “me next!!!” Which was only possible if they had not messed with anything in wrath, which included making Ulduar harder which makes people care more about meta raid groups.

We can cross that bridge when we get there: no one is going to want to buff Ret more now, and nobody cares about ToC
That ideology is why classes doing thousands of dps more than others and they will only take one of your spec to a raid, becuase you don’t say anything and just let blizzard let the game be unfair and unbalanced. You don’t care, so blizzard won’t say anything.
The first step in change is to let blizzard know there is a problem.
It gets under my skin that ret paladins were buffed and cascaded this nonsense into WoTLK. Then they turn around and comment on warrior threads like they have any place to make any comment about how balancing should work.
All paladins should have been silenced on the forums the second they got their buff. Two S tier specs and they had the temerity to petition for their third PvE spec.
You’re speaking of the future though, not the present. People aren’t going to be motivated to fix a problem they don’t see yet. Not to mention we don’t know 100% how ICC is going to shape out (yes, we will likely fall behind on single target).
And again, we just got a buff, and as you can see from Blade, some people are angry about it. Pile on top of that the Feral buffs disaster, and it’s almost untenable to ask for more right now.

No, I spoke up when you threw your trash at us. If you had simply asked for warrior buffs, you wouldn’t have heard a peep from me.
Don’t get it twisted.
Also, you’ve openly admitted to saying Paladins should only be holy/Prot. That’s not a strong position to hold.

It does me too, it’s completely ironic they’re the first to the forums to argue me when we are in the same spot they were, except with dog water specs.

You don’t like having two S tier PvE specs? Fine. Have three C tiers and give S tiers to warriors.
We only get two, you get three ‘viable’ PvE specs, after all that’s the only defence people have against warriors. We’re ‘viable’ so anyone with that moniker should be satisfied.
Did you see paladins throw trash at warriors when they asked for buffs? I doubt it. And even if you had, it would have been few and far between.
No it’s there, 30 percent or more difference in dps in ulduar, and it’s the same in icc. You’re almost last now and you will be last then. By thousands of dps. Same with many other specs sadly.
