Unofficial Sethrak Discussion Thread šŸ

Orcs and draenei look like totally different races between the genders lol. To a lesser extent trolls too, just cause the males have that hunch back.

Definitely would be an interesting change from the norm. Plus theyā€™re snakes, it makes sense!

I know some people will want some way to tell the difference between male and female sethrak. I would say the best way to see the difference is accessories and possible horn/brow ridge styles. Like sethralissā€™s brow ridge is longer and has spikes down her hood. Maybe males can have horns and more bold morphs (ball python term for different skins) compaired to the females.

if you also look at Sethralissā€™s model, she has markings around her eyes. But yes, looking at accessories, maybe piercings/etc on the hood for females, may brow piercings for the males? :o

I feel like the face markings/head options and tail/hood accessories are going to be what makes it easier to distinguish between male and female~ not to mention the female armor will likely expose more of the body, like the belly and what not, than the male does. Or how it covers/exposes the chest.

Imo, males should get the rattles and females hood-ridges and/or horns like big mama Sethraliss.

After reading some information about the vulperas, such as their names were formulated, being similar to Japanese names, I wonder how the names of sethraks were imagined!
Vorrik, Serrik, Korthek and Sulthis would be inspired by what culture?

With 8.2 reveal itā€™s pretty clear that blizz is planning to do.

:fish: > :snake:

pics or it didnt happen.

Iā€™m here! Whereā€™s my sneks at?!

We, devotees of Sethraliss, have to wait patiently for Zandalar and Kultiras to come to the game, so that Aunt Blizz will start talking about the new candidates for Allied Races, among whom we would like to see included, our sethaks!

Iā€™m looking forward to zandalar and kultiras come to the game, even though I have no interest in any troll or Obelix wannabe!!

The sooner zandalar trolls and kultirans are available to create new characters, the sooner we will see our lovely snakes being confirmed or denied!

I am hopeful for a yes, even if it is preceded by a ā€˜Soonā„¢ā€™! :wolf:

Hail Sethraliss! :snake:

I have a question though for you, Grayphus, and any other Alliance player. Would you still play Sethrak if they go Horde?

Iā€™m so sorry that you had to be linked my comment ā€œPics or it didnt happenā€ lmao

Pft itā€™s all good. I just want a place for Sethrak devoteeā€™s to thrive! I wasnā€™t aware there was already a 1k post discussion on it! I should have searched before I posted. Whoops!

There is very little or nothing seen about sethraks, for after much information was dated, Aunt Blizz quickly hid whatever whispers or hisses about our snakes!

The little that was seen suggests only that sethraks were also receiving the same implements as vulperas, and the little foxes have a great chance of being a playable race released to horde! Maybe even sethraks!:snake:

Yes! For sure! If vulperas and sethraks are made available to players, I plan to create a pair of vulperas and a pair of sethraks!
Even if itā€™s on the horde!

In fact, that would make me play a lot less in the Alliance, and that would be very disappointing for me and a problem since all my toons and gold are in Alliance and nothing on Horde!
It would be harder to start from scratch, but still, vulperas and sethraks encourage me to make that effort!

Junkgnomes, in turn, cause me to become disheartened on multiple fronts!

Already annoying always hear scornful phrases like ā€˜if you do that, go to hordeā€™ or ā€˜devs do not like to do anything to the Alliance because it is difficult to make the Alliance eat junk and smileā€™ or 'Alliance is a boring faction and without any attraction '!

And receiving only and only junkgnomes would only be to encourage more unfavorable coments on the Alliance and crystallize the idea that nothing good happens to us in terms of development, if not to justify more disdain on the part of the devs!

I would regret the fact that the Alliance received nothing of value, only races recolors. with little or no inspiration or news and would only generate more ostracism with the Alliance!

I do not have strong feelings against Junkgnomes, against which I have already spoken very unfavorably, but neither in hell a junkgnome compares to the vultures or sethraks, although it is good to see gnomes receiving attention after so much time, for the first time, with weight for the story of the game, and not just as a comic relief or as an adjunct!

I would be very disappointed, as I have several things in BfA like the narrative and the lore!

Theres also the possibility Alliance may get Naga with feet as an Allied Race along with Junkgnomes. :o So you have something snekky coming Aliances way!

I would love playable Sethrak. Just pls no snek boobies, theyā€™re reptiles :no_mouth:

Really? This is sooooooo trash for Ally!

Naga with legs are not nagas and the idea of ā€‹ā€‹having an evil race in ally discourages!

Iā€™m no longer pleased with Void belves da horde, with no bond with Ally, stacked in the blue faction!

The funny thing is that there are always people from the horde wanting Ally to take races like Mogus nagas or mantids, which has a lore totally opposite to Alliance goals or ideals!

But try to suggest Vrykuls, Sabrons or Arakkoas, and people quickly say that they would be better off in the horde and that we ( Ally ) deserve nothing that is not cause for embarrassment!

Iā€™m not surprised if someone in the horde suggests fungari and the devs agree!
Even more so if no one in the alliance has shown the least interest in fungus, since this has been the tonic of many things made for the Alliance in Bfa!

At least for me, Sethraks would be good for Ally, taking place at BfA!
