I finally got a sethrak bow from temple of Sethraliss.

Also noticed a sort of banner that is different than what we see around Vol’dun. Looks really similar to what you could see as an AR embassy banner.

I really hope so. I really like the story draft I have for my sethrak priest and am dying to make them.

I was actually thinking about making a Sethrak priest as well. I haven’t played a priest yet but they seem fun and we’ve seen npc Sethrak as priests so that class should be a given. I just want to make Sethrak of all the classes! (Please Blizzard, make Sethrak playable. )

What’s his/her story? I love making character background stories/character design. Haven’t done anything for this toon but all my Gw2 characters have a story. xD

It’s still a draft so far especially since it’s unclear which faction they’d join.

Basically she was a priest with the Faithless for awhile (kinda before they really were the Faithless) but as their ranks became more aggressive and hostile to all others she pulled away and ran but didn’t join the Devoted because she felt like she’d betrayed everything Sethraliss once stood for. After the war she comes back and rejoins (whatever group is joining the alliance or horde) but feels she doesn’t fit in with the Devoted who remained faithful to Sethraliss, and doesn’t fit in with the Faithless she abandoned. When the call for heroes goes out to support whatever faction (horde or alliance) she volunteers, and intends to gain redemption. She failed her people, and her loa but she won’t fail their new Allies.

This is really good! And there are some broader parts that could even work as the general reasoning Sethrak join a faction/their recruitment scenario.

The whole abandoning the Faithless but not feeling comfortable or right rejoining the Devoted and Sethraliss after Korthek’s death and dismantling of the Faithless Empire. A population of like minded Sethrak could form such a group.

Hey if Blizzard want to use it I’ll sacrifice my OC to them to be the leader.

I’ll only ask they go for the Alliance for reasons lol.

I hadn’t really thought about it before from that angle. I’ll submit a suggestion tonight.

Maybe if we all do they’ll notice and like it. They probably are well aware the Alliance wants Sethrak and that might give them a plausible easy way to do it.

I’ll toss one in sometime this week. And maybe we’ll get some news about Shadowlands so we talk more about how Sethrak and Sethraliss could be involved.

Something else occurred to me.

How would you all feel about getting your BfA factions all to Exalted (minus Honeyback Hive) as a prerequisite for playable Sethrak?

It might seem extreme and there would be people who hate it, but I was thinking that if Sethraliss wants peace above all else, that could be a way of showing the desire for peace as well as the whole peace treaty thing that was signed by Horde and Alliance faction leaders.

I think I’d do it. I want Sethrak bad and well, if that was part of what it takes, so be it.

By all I mean, I mean all bfa related factions on Horde OR Alliance side. Not all of them totaled together.

So if they go Horde, you’d need Horde bfa factions exalted.

Alliance, Alliance bfa factions exalted.

Or it Sethrak are neutral, either one.

I don’t think they’d need to go that far, I know I’d be able to get them since I’ve already got everyone exalted but having too much busy work to unlock them will make a lot of people disappointed.

It would be perfectly reasonable for them to come attached to a one time rep like the Honeyback Hive, from completing the war campaign or, why not, just giving them for “free”.

I don’t think we should have to jump thru extra hurdles just to have Sethrak, makes it sound like Sethrak is a less valid choice or out of the norm when it’s a perfectly fine and reasonable AR request.

But if for some reason that was the only way they’d add em in, I’d accept it.

I agree but sometimes I am concerned others might not see it that way. Maybe I just shouldn’t worry about that.

I know it’s hard not to sometimes but judging by all the different megathreads and mountain of varied requests there is no “right” choice for the next ARs. I may disagree with some of them but they still have the right to voice their opinion and be added into the game without having a bunch of extra proving to do~

Unless its a race that would need a lot of extra dev work and catering like adding in Centuars or something it’s a reasonable choice IMO.

Now I know we both know that Sethrak is the more correct option but that goes without saying

How about a Bronzeback Tree Snake?

It’s the first snake that came to mind when you said Bronze

Above are two different sub species of the Bronzeback. Last photo, the specific subspecies is easy to see why it gets the common name of Bronzeback.

Could be a neat pattern for Sethrak. Especially with the bronze, almost dragon like scales along the back.

Of what I list, what color would you want for your Sethrak if they become playable?

^ Black and red, two tone. (This is a N. American Gartersnake)

^ Black. (N. American Dekay’s Brown Snake)

^ Pink. Like the Sethrak npcs have. (Mangrove Snake. An Asian species)

^ Blue. (Carpet Python species. From Australia)

^ Blue and black two tone. (Prairie Rattlesnake)

I’m perfectly good with that myself.

Though in a perfect world I’d just want them to be a “free” AR. I think one of the major things holding AR’s back is the rep grinds to get them and then having to level them a ridiculous amount for the pretty Heritage armor.

I agree with you. This constantly being at each others throats is getting old. Folk should just be able to request what they like.

OMG thats amazing and yes I absolutely would. I’m attached to the idea of a orange/albino one because of my brothers Cornsnake but I’d be really torn if this was an option.

This is perfect for a character I had in mind whos actually a bronze dragon using the form of a Sethrak. lol

I’m good with the one the Sethrak have right now, but I’d totally love the choice. Probably go with Blue myself. Or that blue black.
