They sort of look like naga skeletons but more snake like that sea serpent/fish. So maybe not Sethrak, but a snakelike race of sorts? Maybe they’re a cousin.

I know there are other snake loa as well.

Though speaking of skeletons I’ve been wondering what skull that is in the Terrace of the Devoted. It’s on a mantle and looks a lot like a large Sethrak skull. Or something.

I don’t think wind serpents wore armor. XD The skeletons have armor and I think hands. You only see the upper body of the skeletons too. I’ll have to run over there and get a screenshot.

Oh my. I don’t think I’ve seen those or at least never payed attention. I thought you were referring to some out closer to the Kodo graveyard.

Those are massive. Could be Naga, or some Old God related creature.

I think the size is rather interesting. Since Blizzard likely had no idea they would one day have Sethrak I would doubt them being that.

Still since I also can’t find references to what they are it wouldn’t be impossible for Blizzard to make up some new Desolace Lore about Sethrak.

Looks like Slith to me, but all Slith we know of are transformed trolls (except one case where it’s an orc). But I’d say that they’re too large for it.
Also in the now non-canon wow rpg those bones are believed to be old god related.

While I don’t know what exactly that skull is from, it’s most likely a holy relic to the devoted similar to the skull of the first skycaller or such.

I was doing one of the Horde quests the other day and found something curious and interesting.

It would appear Sethrak relics react to the Heart of Azeroth. Which makes me wonder more about Sethrak origin and if Sethraliss is more directly tied to Azeroth and maybe the Light.

Wouldn’t shock me to see it was scrapped content. We have lost some great ideas over the years, wouldn’t shock me at all to see the Snake race as one of them.

I am still holding out hope they get to be Alliance and the 4th Druid race to even that back out.

I’ve been hoping for a reptilian race in WoW for a long time.

It just feels like a missing piece idk why.

Because every race is mammalian, need some variety!

They were a very very sorry excuse for reptiles but even Au Ra sort of scratched that itch in XIV and ESO has amazing Argonians… Warhammer and GW2 had plant/fungus. Only WoW is being all boring atm.

I’m still holding out hope for the prepatch.

I’m hoping we see something in prepatch as well, but am not banking on it. That being said I’ll stay optimistic into Shadowlands and will continue to show interest in them being playable. I’ll always want them playable! Keep up the discussion and the hope!

When the going gets tough, we just gotta keep going.

Oh I’ll keep asking for them until they are playable. I’m just hopeful blizzard might be holding them back for a little pre-launch fun.

I finally got a sethrak bow from temple of Sethraliss. Of all the times running it on normal and heroic, the heroic version FINALLY dropped for me today!

Gave me a chance to take a better look at Sethraliss’ skull and yeah she definitely has some viper theme going on. She’s got very large front fangs and a viperid shaped skull.

Also noticed a sort of banner that is different than what we see around Vol’dun. Looks really similar to what you could see as an AR embassy banner.

Still want my Sethrak something fierce.
