Yep, they had them fitted for tabard physics and such too, but rolled that back.
I really have to wonder if it wasnāt going to be that theyād be an AR but then blizzard decided to hide it when we all got nosey, then when 8.3.5 was canceled decided to drop them. I hope thatās not the case and they are just going to drop them as a part of the prepatchā¦
Had another dream about mine. Was fighting through CoT stratholme in the fire bit. Wasnāt able to keep too far ahead of it and it eventually got me.
Bah!
Iām gonna go with they just postponed them. Could be wrong but gotta be positive!
Would Tāpaartos kill all Sethrak though?
I wonder when it was that they removed those though?
Tāpaartos would never kill an ally no matter what they wereā¦
They removed them I think around 8.2? Maybe a bit earlier. It was when the data mining was at its height.
What are you all talking about? If you mean removed as in the sethrak model stopping receiving updates and removal of cloak and tabard geoset then it was all the way back in BFA beta.
Was it that far back? Meh. Same difference.
Have the Sethrak teach him to overcome his phobia of snakes. Itās doable.
Iāve helped people overcome that fear several times. Takes patience and kindness and dispelling of misinformation.
Thatās the recruitment questline. XD Bringing Tāpaartos to the Sethrak to help him overcome his fear of snakes. When he realizes snakes are not bad and the Sethrak are kind and valuable people, he could advocate for them to join the Alliance.
We have a date on the prequel novel for Shadowlands now: July 14th.
https://blizzardwatch.com/2020/02/07/shadows-rising-warcraft-novel-shadowlands/
This date wonāt necessarily have any effect on our campaign here - I donāt recall void elves or LFD being mentioned in Before the Storm so if an AR pair were added before the book takes place it wouldnāt necessarily be reflected there - but it could have some drastic story implications depending on what goes down in the novel.
Excellent info thanks for letting us knowā¦
How cool would it be if there were Sethrak talking about helping the Alliance in there though? lol
Thatās what I was thinking
At the very least I fully expect a mention of them, since from the description it seems like Talanji and Zappy will be doing some heavy loa-related stuff in Zandalar.
Of particular interest in the the description:
If finding new allies wouldnāt be a good way of ābolstering the Hordeā then I donāt know what is. Maybe they plan on adding the last pair of AR after the bookās release?
Not sure. But I am interested in reading this. Would at least like to see some mention on Sethraliss since it does seem like itās going to delve into the Loas some.
Say if the book explains how Sethrak join a faction and we just have to gain the rep in game and do a small questline, that would work for me.
Something Iāve been thinking.
Remember that Wrathion was supposed to be over the Stormwind embassy before BFA? and during the visions of Stormwind, he is particularly hearthbroken and angry by Nāzothās plans compared to the mild worry he has in Orgrimmar.
During his questline we see that thereās new experiments on dragons and we presumably save them (we at least save one that takes us to safety).
What if Wrathion and Dragonkin (experimented on so they canāt be actual dragons for long) were a new Alliance AR, and Horde got Sethrak? Both would fit with stuff removed before BFAās launch.
Sure. I love dragons too. And Iāve really just gotten to the point that I donāt care what AR is paired with Sethrak. I just want Sethrak playable somewhere. xD
Have a bunch of Sethrak fanart.
The sketch of the Sethrak loving on their pet/mount Krolusk is adorable.
Sethrak for the Alliance! (But seriously Blizz playable is fine.)
That would be swell.
Iād be ok with that. Iād still get Sethrak and Alliance would get something new.
Lovely things you have found. How do you find these so easy. >.< I always have trouble.
I am magical. Or the internet senses my obsession with Sethrak.
An adorable snek.
Was thinking, about racials again and thought what about those lightning spires they make?
Like make a sand lightning rod and call a strike of lightning. Hits aoe around the target locationā¦ Kinda works like totems.
I do like this idea. But supposedly only the Faithless can call lightning? Which I find really odd. A devoted Sethrak makes a comment about https://www.google.com/amp/s/warcraft-lore-archives.tumblr.com/post/172909970926/sethrak-lore-out-of-voldun/amp
