I could see that warfront being a thing. With 8.1 thereâll be three warfronts, two of which are on Alliance lands so thatâs even up the numbers. Could put a major crimp in the leveling process and BfA content access though.
They could phase it, so that you have to do a quest (at 120) to get the content started. Similar to Anyport where Alliance players see a pirate port before they complete the quests there and it then becomes neutral. Is it the same for Horde, or is it always neutral for them?
And then you could have Zidormi show up and ask if you want the previous version or not...
Hey Zidormi, you got anything to say about the Vale of Eternal Blossoms? I'm getting sick of the ruined version!
I like how people say adding High Elves (And other races) would take away from adding other races but never actually request those other races.
Start your own thread. Not our fault less people want them.
Heck, I've been trying to support Ogres and Forest Trolls but good luck getting a thread that last more than a day.
But fact is, if you're not asking for your thing then that's doing more harm to the hopes of them being implemented then asking for other races ever could.
We need more flicks. Got about a month to go before we (hopefully) get some info on new Allied races.
I keep thinking about that one leak. Makes me worry about the Sethrek getting stuck in NPC limbo. Here is hoping they're playable in one way or another.
I'm still musing over the sizing changes to sethrak models. In their earliest iteration they were significantly larger and could have kept them like that, but they were instead reduced to the standard size of player models.
The size change Iâd say is a favorable thing. One of the big problems with playable ogers is their size causing problems with going through doors.
Actually if you read their actual descriptions they're said to be about as big as Tauren, their models are just bigger in game as NPCs. Ogres could be scaled down to player size if they wanted. I still don't see why anyone would want to play one, but to each their own.
How many of you actually care what faction Sethrak get put on? I would just be happy they were playable at all. Horde gets all the favoritism from blizzard so it wouldn't even be that bad to play a different faction if I had to. That and I could actually play pvp to win!

I would really prefer to see Sethrak, or a similar 'atypical' race go to the Blue Team. Alliance really would benefit from a shake-up in their roster, DIDs are not quite there. Something quite different, akin to how the BElfs were a stark contrast to everything Horde back when they showed up.

DID was still a really cool race option and wasn't swapped out like Zandalari last moment.
While the supposed leak of Junker Gnomes and Awakened are "neat", they aren't quite there with some of the needed hype.

Believe me I want them on alliance, but I am losing faith in that. Really seems like we are getting set up for holy undeads and trash gnomes, Vulpera and sethrak for horde...

I would REALLY like them on the alliance, but i'd begrudgingly settle for them simply being playable.
...but i just dont see blizz giving horde two completely new races and giving the alliance two offshoot races. I feel like even Blizzard would have to see how biased that would seem, and try their best NOT to do so.

Never underestimate how much Blizzard will favor their preferred faction to play on. There have been distressing parallels in BfA to Cata's development priorities. And we know how much of a disaster that turned out for the Alliance experience.
