There is a lot of interest from players in sethraks, for Blizzard to ignore an obvious chance to capitalize on that for the game.

Just want to add that a new info make Sethrak even more easy to add. It seem that blizzard finally decide to make canon that Tuskar female exist but that they just look like male so we didnāt notice them.
The same can be even more truth for Sethrak since it is a reptile race which donāt necessarily mean that they have to be a difference aside of the size.
So basically, they already made Sethrak in a way that they can wear armor, the lore for them is already there, they already have a zone, they are so close of being a horde allied and donāt even need to have a need model for female.
Everything is just there for them.

Which is exactly my point. They donāt have to āāmakeāā a model version of them like some people claim as they can just all look the same.
Blizzard just need to stop putting the human standard for every playable raceā¦ Like make every female race looking āāfeminineāā.

Ah I gotcha.
I do think they can still make some differentiation if its important without the need for the sexual dimorphism, but Iād rather they were just androgynous.
Things like different jewelry, tail adornments and such I was thinking.

Yup. I hope that they use the sethrak as a opportunity to go out of the mammal pattern. Like if we get a insect race, the female could be bigger. If we get playable Sethrak, the female could be more brown/dark/grey while the male would stay as the coloured one as it is often the case for bird.
I just find it ridiculous that for all the different race from different origin that we have, its all the same pattern of the smaller female with more āācurveāā and more feminine that in reality apply nearly just for human and to some other mammal.
Edit: I was talking about Arakoa and not Sethrak for the colour part.

I would love to play as Nerubians or Mantidā¦ Both have a fair chance to be playableā¦ though harder for the mantid and the body shape of the Nerubians isā¦ less than ideal. lol
Many non-mammals tend towards the larger females and smaller males with males being more colorful. Its entirely plausible.
Blizzard has mentioned before that they didnāt think anyone would be interested if they donāt humanify the races to some degreeā¦ which I think is a shame.

Larger female is even more true in the insect kingdom and the more colorful male in the bird kingdom as it is used by male to catch the attention of the female.

My patience has already run out. I am not worrying about allied race stuff that much these days since it seems like a while before there will be anything allied race related and customization related.

They really do need to find better ways to not only expand the races selection to more interesting and varied races per faction, but also to actually show casing those races and their unique traitsā¦

As a reminder, fully support Sethrak! Including on the Alliance, but neutral or Horde would be fine. Though, I know some want them on the Alliance, as Iāve seen inside and outside the thread. I know some are questioning that statement, but Iām sure thereās many who main alliance who would love playable sneks.

Ah I gotcha. Yeah that would be a major misrepresentation of the truth of the matter.
A great deal of Sethrak fans want them for the Alliance specifically.

All of them are valid so long as a player somewhere is interested in them.
More races is always better than less. More options better than less.

when they add Sethrak I personally hope for a bit of gender dimorphism, but thats just my preference.
