The allied race system in general is, in my opinion, a great way to have gotten some races playable that may not have had a chance as a traditional playable race.
I honestly liked the idea of working to unlock the races. Usually working with them, seeing their storylines and culture, and being part of events that lead up to them joining the Horde/Alliance really felt meaningful to me. Granted, I understand a lot of criticism of the system, but the feeling of being part of the races joining up and then being able to make a character of that race was really rewarding to me. It was to the point that I went to old content and worked on rep and achievements in case they mightāve been required to unlock other races.
You also donāt really have to wait for an expansion to come out, see that a race isnāt playable yet, and have to wait and hope until the next one gets announced to see them potentially become playable. It seems like at any point and time in an expansion, a race could become playable. Honestly, in some contexts, I see that being something people look at with expansions and patches. Then, any announcements of new races in such a manner could potentially be hype.
Iām sure over time weāll see more playable races added gradually. And honestly? A few of them I would do almost anything to unlock them as playable races.
Give me a Horde-related Ogre and Saurok rep in the future? This becomes me:

The Devoted choose to join the Horde through the Vulpera and Zandalari.
The remaining Faithless change their name to The Remenant and flee to the Alliance to survive unwilling to rejoin the Devoted who in their view joined an enemy. (the Horde did undo all their plans and kill their leader)
Ideally, the Remenant Sethrak would keep their desire for conquest but have come to realize that Korthek was going a bit far allaying with old God forces.
A batch of races would be my preferred as well.

Pretty sure thereās something I still need to do to unlock Mechagnomes. Iāll have to check when I get on next. Which has been less frequently as of late. Starting to feel that content drought and burn out.
And Sha of Anger has not been kind to me as of late.

I have a Horde main (this guy!) and an Alliance main (also a Hunter) if you need people to run through the Heroic dungeon to beat up King Mechagon. Iām sure we could easily find others here to join up if need be.
Iāve been taking something of a break from the game, though I have been doing some older content and also some screenshot artwork taking, which is always fun. Been looking at my video game backlog and working on it when I get free time. College classes have been taking up a lot of my time, however. x- x
I still enjoy the game of course, though I am a bit worried about the direction the game is going. I think Iāll feel better when weāre out of Shadowlands, since the setting just isnāt my cup of tea. Hoping weāll see a fun future though. Especially one with some reptilian races on that character creation screen!

Thankfully I just got both my Maldraxxus alt and my Bastion Alt (main? Why are paladins so fun for me?) up and started those stories. As such Iāve actually gotten a little back into it.
This whole expac for me though still kindaā¦ not great.

I have not seen any snakes of late but I heard from some neighbors that they saw some at our local park.
For me, it would be acceptable. Of course, even if that were not a possibility, the allianceās need to have races that are attractive and prestigious added to its staff in the future continues.
This would make the faction have values āāthat would bring more people into the faction.
BfA brought more excuses and reasons to avoid the alliance than reasons to play with some race in the blue faction.
I apologize if I am fragmented in my responses. I canāt even remember what I ate last week. My attention has been dragging as of late. For the forums. The game itself and a lot of other things.
I use song titles as my character names and I put a considerable amount of effort into matching the title, lyrical content, etc to a particular race and class character so I most likely wonāt use it but I think Nosteponsnek would be a funny name. Canāt wait to see what people come up with
After a month of absence I return, with a vengeance.
After so much controversial news in the last month, Blizzard really needs something to restore its image or at least make people see some positive element, something they havenāt shown since the beginning of Shadowlands.
I recommend sethraks to cheer and give hope to the community, who has been very apathetic with everything that Blizzard has said.
Itās ok I invoke him as a repressssentative to request playable Sethrak. Who can resist the demand of this godly creature?!
Sorry to make you jealous though XD This is the first shundo Iāve gotten EVER so Iām crazy happy right now, and wanted to bring the enthusiasm here since I knew it would bring good tidings
Serperior is one of my favourite Pokemon. I got a decent one from Snivy Community Day. Not a shundo. But a 3 star shiny. Canāt complain.
Also, any Sethrak findings? I see they have been posting stuff about the 9.1 PTR. But I have yet to see anything regarding our scaley friends. Course I have been busy. Got a new work class this week and next week.
Sad to report that thereās nothing sethrak related so far on the 9.1 PTR.
And there does not seem to be a lot left of the story in shadowlands either unless we do a major detour, if we keep on track then the last major patch will probably be 9.2.
It is impossible for Blizzard not to have seen how much sethraks are in the interest of players as much as vulpes and do not want to take advantage of ways to capitalize on that as ways to attract and keep players interested in the game.
