Truthfully, I’m rarely ever on Discord and am unsure when I’d actually be on it. But if you’re wanting others to share your artwork, I’m sure there would be some willing folks here since I’m not exactly reliable to do it.
Still going strong, yes! I’m doing as best as I can to show support for the playable races I want, Saberon included of course. They’re one of the races that if playable, would make WoW near perfect. Along with helping get some characters from other MMO’s I’ve created into WoW, which is always exciting for me.
Not so much that, just not comfortable sharing it publically… Yet. We’ll see about it in the future.
So I take it you’re leaning more towards the lion and tiger route for saberon then? Read above and noticed you had several mentions of it. Like the mane idea, however still hoping that we can have hair styles outside of only a mane. Would be great to have some decorated manes but there will be those of us who want something a bit different. The Elven Braid hairstyle from ESO is one I’m currently using on my khajiit, looks pretty good. I wouldn’t mind something like that or something like the top knot cascade being available to the saberon. Although I imagine it’d have to be at least a little messy, unless they decide to make taking good care of your fur/hair a big part of their culture. How do you think they would approach that?
I’m not really the best person to ask with regards to hair styles for races like Saberon. I’m not that creative, other than saying they could use a mane for the male Saberon at least.
A lot really depends on Saberon culture and how it has evolved since we saw them in WoD, both of which are things that would be fleshed out if we saw them again in the future. Maybe some of it is to look good, maybe some of it is a status. Hard to say either way if it would even get addressed on NPC’s as well.
I’m sure someone more creative could better explain Saberon hairstyles and give examples. I’m mostly the type to just share what other games do, like the Elder Scrolls series and D&D.
I do focus a bit on those, given that I like tigers and lions are the go-to wild cat when you think of things like a cat man race culture and so on. Doesn’t mean they should be the only thing to focus on, since we’d see several wild cat fur patterns of Saberon. It’s also a reason I’m wanting to link some more fact videos on other wild cats and such to get some playable Saberon idea inspiration.
I am the same but with Lizardmen instead. I do like cat men races in general a lot, of course. Just that Lizardmen are my favorite fantasy race. A reason I advocate for playable Horde Saurok here.
This lion just noticed it was a new month and is telling everyone to submit in-game feedback for races you want to see playable, including Saberon!
With the beginning of each month, I make in-game suggestions for each race I want to see playable along with a mention of their respective megathreads on these forums. While it is far from a guarantee of seeing our dreams come true, I do think every little bit helps, and doing it monthly I feel is reasonable and not that intrusive or annoying.

Still hoping something good comes from the Saberon that came with us back to Azeroth in the Mag’har unlock scenario. Preferably finding a spot on that character creation screen, of course!
Came across a really neat art piece of a Leonin, who I think is from Magic: The Gathering, on DeviantArt that really looked Saberon-like. It was created by Crisjofreart and uploaded to the website on August 16th, 2011.
As I said, the design really looks Saberon-like in that art piece. It really looks like something you could see if Saberon did get fleshed out more and got updated models, armor, and such.

I have a couple of names reserved if we ever do get playable Saberon for the following:
Male Orange Tiger Rogue
Female White Tiger Shaman or Hunter
Not sure on specs for the classes. A lot depends on if they end up the faction Saberon would join.
The male orange tiger character is based on a Vah Shir/Kerran character I had from Everquest 1/2. One of the last few of my MMORPG characters in general I hope to make in WoW. Bit of a dream of mine to have all my MMO characters in one game, with their race/class selection being close as possible to my vision with some being open to some reasonable changes, and WoW is almost perfect for that.
I’m still hoping something comes out of the Saberon and Botani coming with us to Azeroth in the Mag’har Orc unlock scenario. There is a lot of potential with it, as well as the Wailing Caverns taken over by Botani discussions we’ve had before. The more time passes, the more scary it is to think of what all the Botani have been up to there.
Still hopeful for playable Saberon out of it, of course.
