Ethereals should never be playable. Boring race, with no personality. Also imagine wanting new races when you have enough to choose from already.
If you don’t want them, you can very simply choose not to play one

Assuming they will ever be playable, which they wont.
That is an option you are free to have, even if it’s incorrect.
Blizzard isn’t adding anymore new races, when you have more than enough to choose from already. New races aren’t content.

Neither are cosmetic options, and they’re actively working on those for next expansion.
They’re not working on cosmetics. They’re also not working on new races. New races take away from actual content in the game.
Nonsense races like ethereals have 0% chance being made playable, especially when they have 0 reason to realistically join either faction. Not to mention the amount of work that blizzard would have to put in to allow them to wear armor with how their bodies work. Most of the armor is a texture that is pasted onto a model, which would be impossible unless they remade ethereals from the ground up.

Why come in here and bother them for requesting the race they want to see?

Ethereals would be a great race to add to either the Horde, Alliance or both come an Arcane expansion.

I question if things we say actually have an influence over what blizzard does. Think about all the requested races that haven’t happened.
Well… They keep telling us to give feedback.
I mean little to nothing ever seems to come out that feedback but they say they’re listening…
Might as well put up at least a little effort.

Looking forward to seeing Ethereal architecture and the present situation on K’aresh.
If anyone has any suggestions for what changes to make to this thread, feel free to suggest them. This includes modifications to existing content, addition of content, and subtraction of content.
Even if you have a difficult time getting people to post here, this is a race that would be highly desired.

With 9.0.5 coming out tomorrow, it’s only a matter of time until 9.1 appears on the PTR. We’ll be receiving plenty of Broker lore, which comes with the possibility of revealing a likely link to Ethereals.
I’ve always like these guys and wanted to play one the moment I saw them in BC.
