I’m hoping that after this Azerothian break from the cosmic stuff, maybe just maybe due to themes like Titan keepers re-awakening along with the Dragon Isles, we might get more cosmic stuff.
Maybe it’s a stretch because it seems like some of the fanbase really isn’t into the space themes, but I’ve always loved how the Pantheon were beings that traveled the stars since the concept of them was introduced in vanilla WoW. I enjoy seeing more about who they are, what they do, and learning more about their nature and their creations. Seeing more of the part they played with other planets would be great!

I’m fairly confident that the expansion after Dragonflight will be cosmic in nature.
It’s been leaked that Murozond will appear as the main and final villain of the expansion. That will require Nozdormu becoming tricked by the Void.
I expect that the return of the Void will be relevant to the final cinematic and lead into a Void + ___ expansion. Ideally it’d be Void + Light, but adding in some Arcane to that would be wonderful.
I can easily see us journeying to K’aresh for this.

This will be heresy, but I want these guys more than Tuskarr or even Naga.
I would love that! I want to travel the stars and become Ethereal. (I’m also glad about the idea of Murozond being the final boss of the Dragonflight xpack because it feels super fitting. I always loved the Infinite Dragonflight storyline.)

Journeying to K’aresh would be grand. I hope we find out there are Ethereals of all the cosmic powers.

It’s really neat that we see a couple different colored Broker factions, although we do only see blue and red.
I think it would have been nice if, like how they made Cartel Xy red, they made one other Cartel blue and the others alternative colors.
Based on their plasma blades, they could easily have done a green, yellow, and purple cartel.
I think this concept should carry over to Ethereals that have been infused with different forces.
We do have multiple Ethereal colors, but it should be distinctly tied to the magic they imbue.

I’d rather like that and it would make a bit of sense I think, both for current knowledge and to expand the race a bit.
Don’t forget the purple arcane and the deep purple blue void Ethereals.
I think we see also red currently aye?

Yes there are a few colors in game, more than Brokers!
Funny enough, there’s actually a blade in game that acts similar to the Broker’s plasma blades that could be considered the Ethereal equivalent.

Very interesting find. I’m guessing this is a different rep from the BC Consortium rep, though maybe with the same involvement perhaps? Will be interesting to see what their involvement will be in the expansion.
Already seeing a few reps I’ll plan to prioritize getting exalted to and doing questlines with just in case it leads to anything.

Oof, I just realized that the new faction in Dragonflight for professions is called in their preview article “The Artisan Consortium”, and that contract might be a rep grind with them, rather than the Ethereal Consortium.
But time will only tell!

I’m so hyped for Rafaam! Rafaam for Nexus-King! May he be the foothold we need to get playable Ethereals.
Obligatory: Who would win in a fight? Rafaam or Locus-Walker?
I can’t wait to see how Rafaam is utilized in Dragonflight, I just hope they fix his appearance. Hopefully it’s just a placeholder currently.
