Average ticket wait time 18 days 11 hours? (i took a screenshot if you do not believe me.)
Yes. That is the estimated time based on the oldest ticket in the system. It is not how long a ticket will actually take. Right now theyâre ranging 6-10ish days. Still too high, but thereâs nothing that can be done about it until the Support staff manages to get the backlog whittled down.
Was there something you had an issue with that wasnât billing or account related? Perhaps we can help.
The cooking quest for artisan cooking is broken, it doesnât reward the new level of cooking, it just stays at 225.
That would be a Bug then, and not something a GM can do anything with. Only Devs fix bugs. You would have to post the issue over on the Bug Reports forum to ensure the Devs know about it so that it can be on the list of things to be addressed.
meanwhile i wait 6 months or hope it gets fixed so i can advance in the game. this is not a minor bug, this is hotfix caliber.
There is no way to push for a fix beyond posting in the Bug Forum. On this particular forum, there is no staff beyond our SFAs.
Only GMs answer tickets, but they do not fix bugs. Devs fix bugs, but do not answer tickets. You can try @WarcraftDevs on Twitter, and cross your fingers. But honestly, for all the issues Iâve seen come through here, this isnât one Iâve seen come through CS.
The only other thing I can potentially think of is if it is simply a UI issue, where itâs just something in the graphics that isnât showing the updated scale. For that you could try resetting your UI (not just reloading or turning off your add-ons).
Iâm also poking around to see if there is a potential work-around or âfixâ so Iâll update this if I find something else. And just so I know what youâve looked at and tried so far - what level is the alt youâre doing this on? And which quest didnât work or offer a follow up - the breadcrumb quest that sends you to Gadgetzan or the follow-up to that, Clamette Surprise?
According to the wiki I just googled, Artisan Cooking is purchased from a cooking trainer. Prior to a patch in the game it was learned by doing a quest. The quest is still available in game but no longer rewards the next level of training.
I donât have the trust level to post a link, but I found the info on
https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Cooking#Artisan_(226-300)
Have you visited a trainer to double check?
*Edited to show link as text.
You can enclose the link in a preformatted text tag. That will enable your readers to just copy/paste the link into a new tab/window.
Type and highlight the URL, then click the </>
button at the top of the text window. It will look like this:

Thank you! Iâve edited my post above.
I just got Trust Level 3 here, so I can paste that in as a live link.
This is correct, and hereâs the relevant quest confirming:
A ticket/bug report will do nothing. Itâs working as intended.
Hey, as long as they respond to you. I just got an automated response saying âGm too busy, go use Googleâ essentially, unfortunately Google offered no answers.
This is not what was said. It gave you multiple self-help options, including âWowhead or other community sitesâ. It also said that if these self-help options didnât solve your issue, then reopen the ticket. Reopened tickets are in a separate, but shorter queue.
Now, there is a small issue where some tickets are not being given the option to reopen. If that happens, then youâll have to open a new ticket.
GMs are not allowed to give game hints so if the system thinks you are requesting one, it will often suggest you visit a site like Wowhead first. If that does not work, you can re-open the ticket.
What did you have an issue with? It might be as easy to resolve as the OPs misunderstanding of the cooking training/quests.
Lol⌠No of course itâs not what it said. Good Lord⌠Itâs an exaggeration to show how useless it was. It told me crap I already knew. Check forums, check wowhead etc I know that already⌠but I shouldnât have to reopen a ticket.
@Mirasol ah okay that makes sense. Iâll re-open it then. Nah, my thing just straight out bugged. We were using Amber Drakes and the game didnât count it as using an Amber drake or any drake at all for experienced drake rider despite the fact we got ruby and emerald void in the process.
Ah, that sounds like a bug. GMs canât award Achievements in game and they are not the folks to submit bugs to. That is the QA dept. They donât reply, but you can submit a bug via the bug report forum or via the in-game reporting tool.
(going to go do some googling myself to see if I can find more)
EDIT - lots of good info in the comments here
Including that you have to avoid dying.
More edits! This looks like a recent and decent comment.
Soloable in Shadowlands
I was level 50 in questing gear (ilvl 65)
Ruby Drake - from what I remember just spam 1 and kill boss, make sure to kill the whelplings as they spawn
Amber Drake - same, spam 1 until boss is dead, killing whelplings when they spawn
Emerald Drake - this one was annoying, my strategy after wiping a few times was
- Set Ley-Guardian Eregos as your Focus
- Cast your first ability - Leeching Poison 3 times
- Swap to the whelplings as they spawn cast Leeching Poison until they die, they should keep you healed
- Keep your eye on Ley-Guardianâs DoT and refresh it when needed
- Be patient!
*as a side note, I didnât use the second ability that halves your life since I didnât want to risk dying againHope this helps someone
Just to set some expectations, Iâm afraid there isnât anything a Game Master would be able to do in this instance, Lkatmahbeard. They cannot verify that you qualified for the achievement or otherwise grant it to you. The only advice would be to submit a bug report and/or try again.
Good Lord, of course it was, which is why Iâm correcting the information. Itâs not helpful to exaggerate, since some people search this forum for the answers to their issue. It also wasnât useless, because it gave you self-help options that clear up a good amount of in-game issues.
If it didnât clear yours up, then re-open the ticket, as instructed. Again, the exaggeration where you leave that incredibly important part out is not helpful.
But did you? You only said:
So did you check other sites? If so, great. Re-open the ticket, as instructed.
In times of massive ticket queues, many people are helped by this response. It may not have helped you, but again, if you re-open it, itâs in a separate, but shorter queue. And youâre complaining about that?
And this is why you got the response you got. GMâs cannot give in-game hints, nor can they award Achievements, except in rare circumstances. Generally, for Achievements that you can attempt again the next day, they are hands off completely.
You can add your experience to the Bug report Forum, so QA can investigate it.
For clarification, we receive a fairly large number of tickets on issues that our staff cannot help with. So, when queue times are high, we try to direct folks to resources and other self-help options to point them to information that might be able to help. This allows our staff to hopefully get to issues that they can help with.
I also am waiting 18 days, for them to fix Venthyr covenant switch, problem since 2020 I think i read? Hopefully I get the six days as well instead!
