Well, art assets for this UI are kind off. Which is one of the main improvements I could see being done to this UI overhaul, along with being able to move certain things like xp bar, and stuff.
Though, the old Unit frames got added back into the beta build, along with what I hope are “simple” variants. Last time I enjoyed playing with Graphical Unit frames was back when SuperVillainUI (SVUI) was still getting update. Which, after SVUI quit getting updates and I had to switch to ELVUI I can kind of sympathize with people that find this jarring. WoW really hasn’t been the same since.
The classic preset is a lie. Seriously I used that preset but had to manually tweak it and add another action bar then I saved it as NEWclassicUI and it’s much closer to the classic ui is then the preset.
I’d already reworked it to come moderately close to pre patch setup. Theirs isn’t much better than what I could do alone, and it’s still far short of where it should have been at launch.
I am kind of a live and learn type of player anyhow, so I just set something up and plow out there and see what happens. Lol. Almost like a new game for a little while…which is actually the point of complete xpacks. If it didn’t shake things up some, it would merely be an update.
Quick bump, and reminder that the “Classic preset” option they included does almost nothing lol
A simple “stock UI” or “legacy UI” toggle button/checkbox to make the UI change itself back to exactly how it looked before is more what people are asking for
“We are hardwired to resist change. Part of the brain—the amygdala—interprets change as a threat and releases the hormones for fear, fight, or flight. Your body is actually protecting you from change.” https://www.emersonhc.com/change-management/people-hard-wired-resist-change
First bad steps for a new Blizzard systems, It is necessary if in the end they improve it, or ignore it like many systems in WoW forgotten by themselves.
lmao…yeah…it is.
Youre tossing a fit because something isnt EXACTLY as you DEMAND.
well guess what? the OLD UI ISNT EXACTLY what WE demanded, so there ya go.
I aint throwing a fit about it, have add on up and running already the reverts it back. Im pointing out your constant linking of something that even the author says isnt the solution but the best they can come up with. Again nobody forced you to use the old UI did they?
