Much like the Jade forest thing I mentioned, and like several other thigns in WoW, the “facts” of this one questline run absolutely contrary to every other fact we know about hte situation.
so we can simply chalk it up to the quest is wrong. if you really want the quest to be functionally correct, maybe try this one; the player is being lied to by the questgiver. it certainly wouldn’t be the first time for that one.
don’t like that? Blame the writers for screwing up this quest.
Please provide evidence or context to such, because a part from dialog in Mists of Pandaria, there’s also been dialog towards the end of the BFA campaign with various characters stating otherwise - an example in MoP is numerous Blood Elves at the Isle of Thunder, and BFA campaign is where comes along with the Blood elf who stops you rescuing Baine in BFA wanting revenge on Jaina in regards to those slaughtered.
The only thing that really provides a ‘pat on the back’ towards those events is Vol’Jin later saying ‘Bygones be bygones’ but with all due respect to Vol’Jin, a troll regardless of their position in the Horde, doesn’t have the authority to say that towards the Sin’dorei.
Until you can provide a statement in-game giving a reference towards a specific number, your ‘retcon’ to me is simply a ‘Headcannon’ so you can have a ‘feelsgoodman’ hero-complex theme with the Alliance, without flaw — and given the history of your comments, replies & posts, I’d say that’s relatively accurate.
And even when there’s no explicit treaty, alliance posters will headcanon up a new treaty that invalidates their previous transgressions because clearly trying to assassinate Sylvanas or kidnap thrall shouldn’t ever count against them. Gosh. why would you ever think trying to kill an enemy head of state would ever create an international war?
Could you link proof? I have a very distinct memory that because of outrage, the npcs were changed from burning Vulpera, to burning their caravans. I’m 99% certain that this is the case.
Then why does the vulpera not mention that his kinfolk were burned? He only mentions that the caravans were burned, and that they were burned because they were trading with the Horde. He would have mentioned that not only were their caravans being burned, but also themselves.
Oh so we’re doing hyperbole then. Give me a few hours and I can compile a list of “genocides” the Horde has commited against the Alliance. You’re free to do one for the reverse. let’s see which one is longest.
I am sure you can , because the writters love to write us as such , I am just saying that whenever the alliance does anything remotly bad of cours its retcon while the horde get good things retcon to make them look even worst than what the witters wanna make them look like in the first place
don’t worry alliance puppy I know the writters love your faction and have a huge bias for it , its not anything new and I am not gonna try to argue about it
Have you forgotten what happened to Teldrassil already? What about Gilneas? Theramore? Southshore? All destroyed by the Horde. Not one of them avenged or reclaimed. So yea, i’d call that being a punching bag.
I am not in the mood , you wanna think you don’t have the writter bias and that your faction has it worst , good for you for being delusional , farewell
