Or moreso. It was one of the more common criticisms of Legion that the Burning Legion didn’t really get around to burning a whole lot down.
Horde characters that stayed loyal after Teldrassil are equally guilty and deserving of condemnation they receive because they made the conscious decision that burning down a city full of civilians, one that no longer posed a military threat and could have been occupied, is a perfectly acceptable course of action.
The Horde revolted against Garrosh because he dared to punish members of the Horde who actively opposed him as warchief (Garrosh did nothing wrong). I’d consider the senseless massacre of civilians at Teldrassil to be a much more serious issue than a warchief disciplining seditious individuals. The fact that Teldrassil wasn’t the end of Sylvanas’ reign tells us everything we need to know about the modern Horde.
I get the feeling that Blizzard locked its marketing team away in a dungeon and refuses to update them on the story. There’s a serious disconnect in what they advertise, and the garbage they put into the game.
Everything I’ve heard about this expansion puts me in the same camp; very glad I didn’t purchase.
Ideally we get a few expansions with both factions focusing on themselves. I simply don’t trust Blizzard to write cross faction narratives anymore.
As of BFA the Red Dragonflight is still pissed at the DKs. There’s an encounter in Drustvar where the player aids a red dragon in killing a DK who is trying to raise another dragon from the dead.
I also wish we had dialogue addressing LHC. Just because Blizzard actively ignores things in the story, that doesn’t mean that relations have improved.
“Don’t like” is a bit of an understantement, don’t you think?
When you trade with people who commit genocide, you better believe you’ve rescinded neutrality. That vulpera got a better deal than the Night elves did. Atleast he didn’t burn with the caravan.
nah.

The Night Elves straight up gave the Goblins Azshara.
yeah and when you are supplying a faction in midst of a war,
Wrong. After Ashran was a piece treaty renewed. Yes Gen started it. Even Saurfang agreed.
You are silly, with your “burning civilians is ok if we do it”.
So, its only breaking treaty when alliance does it, but when the horde breaks the treaty, it’s okay.
Alliance destroyed a caravan aiding a military faction. A big difference between killing a surrendered civilian population. like holy hell, this isn’t the same thing.
The entire argument goes around that Alliance player are saying it’s ok as long as the Alliance does something.
Genn broke the treaty, but so did the horde. Yet, you seem to only argue it counts when the alliance did it. The argument can also be made that you are okay as long as the horde did it.
A treaty can be broken once. After what Gen did, the peace should have ended. Of course the Horde instigated wars before.
Then whoever breaks it first gets freebie? That’s not how treaties work.
What sort of question is that even?
Aside from that I don’t understand what you want with it, no.
you are arguing that the first offense is a throwaway and that it doesn’t count. So, this mysterious new rule about treaties justifies horde breaking the treaty.
Sure, that’s totally what I did.
Not and you know it. Go ahead and play your game.
“A treaty can be broken once”
If you break a thready it is obvious meaningless. So the other side doesn’t have to comply with it. You admitted Gen broke it.
But that’s also a rather boring topic and was discussed so many time already.
I also said the Horde broke the treaty first. but go on and be a hypocrite .
With that you are simply wrong. The Horde did attack in Ashran, but after Legion they made a new one.
proof then. I looked over the good war and Before the Storm. There was nothing in either of them stating that after Ashran the treaty was renewed.
if you ask me the night elfs lied “there is only innocents left in the tree” my butt there is , they are gonna tell me that they have a fortress and instead decide to send all of their troops to go fight outside of it ?
so many horde lives would have been lost trying to take the tree normally because we all know they must have had a considerable forces inside of it and we would have been ambushed trying to get in
and also about the “innocents” , when undercity is attacked in a couple of minutes all the civilians are gathered and tped to orgrimmar , we are gonna tell me that those night elfs that had days before the horde arrived and knew about it and more time when the horde was fighting on the shores of teldrasill that in all this time they couldnt have been tped away or escape in boats ?
either the night elfs are beyond arrogant , either they are beyond stupid and incompetents
You just tried to explain away writer incompetency with in-lore night elf incompetency.
Okay then, fourth wall smasher lady.
