Its a nuanced argument. By what means do we allow cross gender bathrooms? How do we check this? What responsibility do we have in protecting people from SA?
To be clear I’m not saying trans individuals are SA’ers. But if we allow anyone who claims to be trans than people who are so inclined can use this to gain access to areas they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
This has resulted in a male playing with himself in front of a small child and a trans who did not have the bottom surgery fully exposing themselves in front of women by undressing on a sports team. There are many many such cases.
Any easy way to solve this issue would be to have individual bathrooms that are unisex so only one person can occupy it at a time.
As far as the sports the science shows that if you go threw puberty as a male (high testosterone) it has a massive impact on muscle mass, bone density, speed, weight etc. Many of these things remain unchanged even after years of hormone treatment. We divide sports to ensure fairness. If a male to female trans person fights against a born female they have very clear advantages.
So how do we solve this issue? I don’t think there is a satisfactory way to solve it. I think the closest would be to have trans divisions and allow them to enter the mens competition if they choose as its often considered an open category.
Now this is a very brief overview of how I see it as expanding it much further would take far to much time on a debate that frankly I don’t care much about because there are no 100% right options. It all comes down to how individuals value different things.
I was interested in knowing if there was something that lies outside of these two specific topics.
Literally anyone can go into a bathroom, this is a moot point cuz a man can walk into a woman’s bathroom right now and SA assault someone
So a sexual predator acted like a sexual predator, and thus trans people should be barred from the bathrooms they align with
There are also now cases of men, with beards and all, being forced to used the women’s bathroom and get yelled at because of it
I would like to know the source of these claims and there are articles claiming the opposite of what you’re saying
Plus as a bonus, if we want to be as fair as possible for “genetic differences” in sports, we would require multiple different leagues of every sport, as some people are just born with denser bones giving them advantages, some people are taller which means advantages, and some simply have easier ability for muscle mass
Said nothing offensive, should stay out of schools and let the parents decide what’s best for their family. I’m sure you wouldn’t want religion being passed onto your child. The school just needs to teach the basics and quit worrying about all the social bs that they are not equipped and mature enough to handle. If you want to teach them that at home go right on ahead. Male vs male, female vs female, tyranny vs tyranny… It’s pretty simple and there are clear advantages men have over women in most thing physical. Not going to provide sources so don’t bother asking.

Go look at sports stats, you’d have to be blind not to notice the differences between men and women. Studies show the absolute best times, heights for sport competition and there are under 18 boys dominating the absolute best woman adult competitors out there and you add in the adult men and the numbers are just that much better. You are trying to make a stupid fact out of a lie. Women and men are not built the same, not to say that there are no exceptions and that women are not built better for certain things. I know plenty and am not disillusioned by modern society thinking that men and women are the same. They are valued the same personally but physically absolutely not. Even in golf, a sport slightly less physical the 2 opposing sexes tee off at different boxes.
If you combined men’s and women’s sports there would be no biological women, or if there were would be very few. They just can’t compete in that physical realm like a natural born male.
I’m not talking about sports and I agree most men and women are different physically. I’ve yet to hear a good plan on transgender people in sports from anyone and I don’t think it’s an easy answer.

Trans vs trans, that’s as simple as it can be. Either go by birth gender or don’t compete or go by your theory crafted gender and compete against like minded folk
