TWW is going to be bad isn’t it?

The US arrested ppl for leaving their homes.

It’s not comparable

I’m pretty sure the couple you’re taking about were arrested because one of them had covid and it was during covids peak.

But yes, it is comparable. Other companies WERE still affected by covid. Everyone was. I’m not saying Blizzard didn’t suffer, but blaming covid for the extreme droughts during points at which we had the vaccine and things were lightening up is just an excuse.

DF put out content at a reasonable pace, along with consistent QoL changes.

M+ had the same issues SL M+ did, just in the form of the aug evoker.

I think this seal the deal for me, i will not get TWW (i will keep an eye on it tho), if this team can’t make a decent pre-patch they can’t make a whole expansion

DF was just bland that’s it, but shadowlands was a miserable experience

I am still upset that they didn’t give the Dragonriding drakes access to all the scale colors that Dracthyr have. That would have made them significantly cooler and more fun to customize. I have just never understood why all the dragons in a flight have to be the exact same shade of blue, green, red, etc. It’s boring.

Like, WHERE IS THE VISION? Where are the Green Dragonflight dragons with scales as dark as an evergreen forest? Or as light as a newly budding leaf? I would have been over the moon if I could have combined the Dracthyr’s deep green scale option with the neon purple hair on my slitherdrake (a hair option that is, for some reason, only available on the protodrakes currently).

Like, thinking about what we could have had makes me sad – and I’ve been getting that feeling ALOT from WoW over the last few years lol

Silver lining: BFA managed to turn around a pretty bad launch by Nazjatar patch, so it’s not like Blizard historically can’t fix problems it just takes time. Risk here is that these abbreviated expacs are just going to remain flawed (or worse) due to their lower devtime/lifespan.

Beta is a hot mess of bugs (last played last week), and what makes it worse is the story is lacking which can’t be fixed now like bugs.

I mean, if you’re trying to sell a cheap third dwarf recolor as a brand new race and expansion feature… yes, yes, it will probably turn out to be pretty bad.

I might be a weird one, but Grim Batol was my favorite Cata dungeon. Even when it made me question all of my life decisions leading up the moment I was running it on pre-nerfed Heroic.

I like it, I just am VERY concerned for it being M+ lol

If that’s a term that racists say then why does Blizzard have a DEI initiative? Is Blizzard racist?

Why are you concerned about some random forum poster’s expansion tier list?

Why are you concerned about me being concerned?

That said, did you read our entire discussion? Cause that probably would have answered your question.

They are rushing content, plain and simple. More doesn’t equal BETTER. It’s buggy and not well thought out or executed.

Meanwhile, they’re simultaneously releasing content like Plunderstorm and Remix, etc., which ALSO weren’t ready for prime time upon release, and also had some poorly thought out/buggy aspects.

This as they’ve ignored ongoing bugs/issues on live. They just want us logged in. They don’t care if we’re enjoying ourselves, it’s all FOMO/players having already paid for the content via sub, so it’s “use it or lose it”.

I’m not. 10char

It’s going to be bad for a bunch of reasons. It’s being rushed out the door, judging by the state of alpha/beta it was supposed to be out in November but they bumped up the release date. Class reworks and hero talents are half baked at best. Some are thematically bad, some are mechanically bad, and some are just really poorly thrown together un-cohesive designs. The dungeons are just going to be awful in M+, M+ tuning is incredibly bad, affixes are bad, and 12+ keys are now mechanically easier than a +7. The story looks to be “meh” at best. Tons of bugs and abilities that don’t work correctly. Then there is the whole tank/healer rebalancing that came last minute. What’s going to happen there is they will half implement it, M+/Raids won’t be balanced for it(Rushed!), it won’t work well, players will hate it, and then they will spend even more time undoing it. Instead they should have either implemented fully in in ALPHA OR wait for next expansion and fully implement it then. At the very least they need to not scrap it and just forge ahead and complete the vision.

After launch we’re looking at several months of constant buffing/nerfing/fixing before things are where a beta should have been. Things that are half baked and function will never be fixed. Because of the cadence they are trying to hit with expansions balance is going to be even worse. After s1 if your class is in bad shape don’t expect any changes because the the chances of a mid expansion rework are very slim unless it’s a rework that was near enough finished but cut to get TWW out in August. Everything else gets bumped to the next expansion due in 12-18 months, most likely 12 since retention will be bad, wonder why?, causing them to need to drop an expansion to get peoples attention and have a chance at bringing them back. It’ll be a rushed expansion so repeat all of the above for the next 2 expansions unless management gets fired due to extremely low numbers. I’m hoping the new union changes this, but I doubt it.

…this is dishonest and you know it. Torghast never rewarded gear apart from being part of legendaries. After you got your leg there is no reason to go back except for mogs and mounts which is fine.

Delves will award heroic equivalent gear last I heard, unless that changed.

Hero talents …are covenant skills? Wild comparison. Hero talents are evergreen and are staying. The vast majority of covenant powers are gone. And by powers I’m not just referring to on use abilities but soulbind passives too.

Come on.

Anyone with experience with this game knows TWW will suck until the second patch that irons out everything that was wrong at the start. Probably best to not play the game until a year from now.

Where did you even get that? It has no bearing here and no one was discussing it.

No I just think sub specs are inherently lazy idea.

And all the solo content they keep putting out is a recycled grind fest. Not high quality content in my eyes.

I’m sad that we can’t breath fire on our enemies.

What’s the point of letting the player ride dragons if you won’t let them breath fire? Blizzard hates fun.
