Two Alliance races got dark ranger options, while one Horde did

Ya got the green eyes, but they do need some unique skin tones, like the Felblood ones.

You don’t get any of that on the horde though. No explanation for that on horde side.

Well yeah. We also don’t get that cinematic y’all get either. Our quest just ends with her giving us a letter to give to Greymane to inform him that they will talk about leaving Gilneas for him for sending us to help them. It is a difference for sure.
But letting y’all know they do explain the whole dark ranger thing on our side.

Well maybe blizzard well let some alliance races join the horde then. Finally get our undead night elves that are on the forsaken that way.

I’m glad they at least did that. I might have to check it out, if I ever get an Ally to 60.

Blood elves were never supposed to get blue eyes, so its fair that we get red eyes too.

Velonara, the Dark Ranger.

It’s almost like HE fans got something at the time BEs got that I wonder what that was

Also Blue eyes were always supposed to be returned to BEs and a plethora of BE npcs have had them since before the option returned to us. So if anything possible unaligned HEs returning to Quel’thalas is also valid story to be told.

High elves were still predominantly Alliance. The high elves were very few in numbers on horde, and they’ve always been Ally in old lore.

The only reason BEs even went Horde was because of requests of the Asian community during the BC blizzcon event. They added lore later just to try and justify it. The canon for this franchise is very skewed.

People seem to forget that they broke the lore to give the Horde Blood Elves just please the Asian Market.

How do you guys have this much energy to go in circles?

Honestly it’s more believable that high elves would return to Quel’thalas to reunite with their people and go home than it is for blood elves to abandon their people to go study void on a rock.

This is flat out false.

Dev statements announced BEs during that event and art work and story was already well under development you think random people at blizzcon had a hand in what they were already set to debut lol?

Its not false.
It was stated outright in a dev post during the event. A demonoid was supposed to go horde prior to BEs Chris metzen stated it live at blizzcon. You obviously never watched it. They wanted horde to have a “pretty race,” so it was changed. There are tons of videos on it… I’m surprised that there are horde BE fans that are this dense.

Pretty sure it was because Horde were heavily underplayed. They needed a “pretty race”. But that’s as I recall it so grain of salt.

Alliance were supposed to get pandaren too, but they became nuetral instead.

Interesting. First time hearing this. But likely just my own ignorance.

That I know was specifically due to the reaction in China.

That’s the gist of it, but they weren’t heavily underplayed, I think it was only a 2% difference.

Blizzard knew the Asian market would be big for them and still is to this day so they gave them Blood Elves to satisfy the pretty race they wanted.
