Two Alliance races got dark ranger options, while one Horde did

I heard it was more story related, like the Pandarens had nothing to to do with TBC so they scrapped it and went down the Draenei rout.

Because Blood Elves having access to High Elf and Void Elf customization (through the dark ranger options) on top of the pile of customizations they already got isn’t a problem.

Priceless to watch Belves complaining about not getting enough attention.

Yup and they retconned dranei to not be ugly things and prettied them up and made them related to Eredar demons.

This could have been what the alliance got.

I’m not against it.

And literally copy-pasted Belf faces onto them. They didn’t even bother to make unique ones.

This thread is making me LMAO. Horde players are so entitled, they really are crying over both factions being treated equally.

Once again… LMFAOOOO

omg…really? This isn’t true.
You seem to have fallen for the gossip.

Not true,
Seriously people need to stop posting lies and just get over the fact that Blood Elves are Horde and it makes perfect sense.

I mean there’s this, which explains why they went horde. Also, read anything about Anasterian and his views on the alliance.

Blizz did a poll in an asian comic or something asking what should be the next race. Many said blood elves so they can get there girlfriends to play on horde or something like that. They set up the lore in wc3 for blood elves to join the horde I believe.

There’s no need to be offensive.

Heck, I watched that Blizzcon and don’t even remember discussions about a demonoid race. I thought I’d heard Blizzard wanted a shapeshifter race on the Alliance in Vanilla, like Dreadlords, but that’s as close to a demonic race being playable as I’d ever heard.

Yeah, no they didn’t.
And if you find proof they actually did this please note that wasn’t the main or only reason for Horde Blood Elves.
gah…

No it is true, they had to break the Lore to make it work .

WoW client went live in China on June 7 2005

Blood Elves were announced at the end of October 2005

That’s less than 5 months, and considering they already had artwork of Silvermoon etc underway / had been working on the expansion it seems imo highly unlikely BEs went Horde randomly because 5 months prior to being announced WoW debuted in China.

Blood Elves went Horde organically and people don’t like to hear that despite the devs stating there were a plethora of reasons namely story why they went Horde.

It is false.
I mean we can all post anything we want with no proof and pretend it’s true but it doesn’t mean people can get away with it.

WC3 set them up to be apart of Illidan’s forces, hell the Horde actually fight Belves during Vanilla in Azshara.

They have Jaina, who is a dreadlord according to many rumors.

They should’ve added an Easter egg in the Lords of Dread fight, where they transform into her.

Blood Elves went to Horde because Horde needed more players and Blood Elves would satisfy that need. It wasn’t for the Asian marketplace specifically, but it was not “organic”.

It might be a hard swallow for those who are still salty about Horde Blood Elves though.
