Night Elves getting dark ranger options really doesn’t seem right

But as with other Allied races, no undead options for Death Knights. So yeah we were given a few more options so we don’t all look alike but nightborne death knights are just out of luck. We didn’t even get the dark ranger to help with that.
it may not be lore reasoning, but maybe they went ahead and gave it to void elves because there’s such a heavy horde presence, that they figure give it to void elves, maybe it might help the bleeding the alliance is suffering in population? I dunno, it’s just a guess, please don’t flame me.

I can see the logic in the argument, but how many people do you think would actually be swayed to switch factions due to these cosmetics? I can’t see this being the catalyst–or any of one at that–for faction re-balancing.

You have your dark lady to thank for night elf dark rangers. She went full genocidal mode and killed many sentinels and rangers.

idk, maybe not all “Forsaken Dark Rangers” That are Blood Elves want to go side with Horde and want to defect to Alliance? Anything can happen. There is likely a chance that void elves who have died during the Fourth War against Sylvanas’s Horde crusade that became dark ranger and are now coming back to Alliance.
Anything is possibility, but people should really say it is a bias against Horde because Nighborne are not included. Not that it shouldn’t have been given to VElfs.

I think it would be fair to give nightborne the option as well, it does say in the achievement that it’s a “Dark Ranger Elf Customization”
It would have made sense for only night elves and blood elves to get this since they already exist in game, but if void elves get the option nightborne shouldn’t be the elves that are left out.

Maybe because of that the Realms are down. Maybe it was a mistake to give the options to the Void elves

I think we’re all guessing at this point. The devs aren’t always very adept at sharing why they do stuff like this.

I’m not the one complaining that the customization options being made available to my character are also being made available to other people’s characters, which is really one of the least justifiable types of whining
I saw a few.
Not too many though.
This is basically how I feel. I absolutely love that people are getting new options. I love that hunters are getting a new set and that people are engaging with these things… I am however upset that Night Elves and Void Elves got those options and that they can effectively become undead by spending 10 gold at the barber. Though, I do have to say, that if I was in Blizzards shoes I would have done the same thing and made the same choices.
More options is better. Customization options which target peoples interests, i.e. class and race, are fantastic additions to the game, especially when they have a lasting effect. You can see forum avatars and the number of people doing the quest chain for the customization, proves that it’s good content.
So, while I might not be perfectly happy here, I do see a lot of happy Night Elf, Void Elf and Blood Elf players, which is fantastic for the health of the game.

I agree, it should had been an unlock for forsaken players, not elves in general.
Forsaken players already have what they need for Dark Ranger customizations, as far as I’m aware. Well, except for the model. Adding the customizations to Blood Elves was fine.

More customization for everyone! May as well go all in with customization at this point, Activizard has long since killed the lore.
Honestly if you only have a problem with “muh lore” NOW instead of the years and years of drivel they’ve been spewing out, then you really don’t have a leg to stand on lol.
Even just NEs matches the pair w BEs, as in one Horde race got it and one Alliance race.
I would have preferred BEs DR/Draenei Eredar but that’s just me. Seems better than what we have, and wouldn’t have left a sour taste for BE fans who take issue w losing visual uniqueness yet again because we can’t seem to get any new option without VEs immediately benefitting.
