Two Alliance races got dark ranger options, while one Horde did

Also ppl here QQing that Alliance got dark rangers in the first place? LOL.
(Edit: Outside of adding the mog these really don’t feel like dark rangers. I guess dark ranger mogs with the eye/skin changes but this doesn’t feel unique at all. If anything this is a BLizz cop out adding skin/eye colors and then they said “well void elves are same model exactly as high elves so we can add it to them too to avoid QQ”)
Do the freaking quest as an Alliance and it explains it. They see through the trash disguise and realize Alliance helping them.
They admit there are elves within the forsaken that want to go back to the Alliance and that unlike the blood elves originally with Sylvanas(probably before they were Horde) likely to be allowed back.

Did you read the OP at all?

I said I was very happy.

My general point was to overall posts not just yours. Maybe I accidentally clicked direct reply? If so I didn’t mean to.

I assume off screen in the many many battles we had in BfA.

Either they are being treated like high elves as many horde players have said they are to alliance players wanting full on high elves, which then it would make sense, or Blizzard said “well they are exact same thing as BE so give them to VE as well to avvoid ally QQ”.

Night Elves Dark Rangers makes total sense because of Teldrassil and the ones Sylvanas has ressurected.

while… Void elves? lol! DR aren’t even an Alliance faction. Actually If u are a Void Elf you can use the skin only to resemble with your other white skin gothic options, but will never be Dark Rangers.

Actually I’m starting to think that the whole thing about VE are pretending being something that they aren’t. They like to think that they’re High Elves, but they’re not. They like to think that they are Dark Rangers, but they’re not. Sometimes I think that would be best for them Just embrace the chaos and accept who they truly are.

Look, this is nothing personal but I prefer not to base my understanding of the lore on a guy on the forums’ assumptions.

Nice new look!

(cackles)

Sometimes we don’t need to be hand fed lore. Especially in this particular case because we already know how it happens. And the particular lore in question is very minor/not too important in the grand scheme of things.

There were plenty of dead void elves(and others) during the 4th War, it is not an unreasonable assumption that Sylvanas decided to rez some of them.

Look man, I’m not going to start guessing what I think the lore is. That’s how headcanons take over.

I love this alot about souls game…

Coming up with our own interpretation is really fun

I mean this isn’t “headcanon”. The void elves were literally only created in pre-BfA so any void elf undead were created in the Fourth War. We saw Sylvanas rezzing any night elf she could find, why not dead void elves as well?

It literally is, because Blizzard hasn’t published any lore on the matter.

Again, not everything needs lore. For example the human hunters were added back in Cata with no explanation why. We just assumed there were ALWAYS human hunters and gameplay wise they were just never a thing until Cata.

Elves, orcs, and humans aren’t the only races that exist in this game. It’s entirely possible to advocate for others, you know?

I wonder why they didnt add dark ranger skin to humans. We have Nathanos as prime example

Easy to create a lore around it

Simple reason, I doubt they want a “pseudo Forsaken” faction in the Alliance(the dark ranger skin can be used by any class). But who knows what will happen in the future.

Nightborne is lived on Suramar City; despite had completely different appearances, they didn’t have undead skin and eye options, in their view; much like Lightforged Draenei, they have much more options as of Patch 9.1.5.
