You cant say stuff like this

Theyre customisation options for videogame characters.
I dont get why anyone has to be a jerk about it

It’s fair to say that Void Elves shouldn’t have gotten these options. First time I can actually say that this is Alliance-bias.
They shouldn’t have yes, but because they share their models with Belves, it’s a simple toggle from NPC to players, so I’m assuming Blizzard just did it because it didn’t require any actual work.
I apologize
I got carried away
FFXIV has better lore than WoW so actually customization is more important
Didn’t Blizzard just give Blood Elves a lengthy second heritage questline?
And wouldn’t we need to have Horde to even unlock the set in the first place?
Also just let Nightborne unlock it. It’s not much of a stretch for Sylvanas to have raised them during the Fourth War. That wouldn’t be a huge retcon.
Eh, there’s no reason for the character creator to be bound to lore based restrictions either. See: Wildhammer Warlock, Sandfury Druid…
That being said, I don’t see why the red eyes couldn’t have been added to Nightborne, especially since they already have the grey skin as a default option anyway. The only reason I can think of is that this quest reward was made entirely from prefab assets and the red Night Elf eyeballs might not be compatible with the new eyelids they gave Nightborne to better match the NPCs.
The lore always takes a back seat so it honestly wouldn’t be an issue to give them the eyes.
With how heated and fast paced these topics get it is crazy easy to get caught up in it.
That’s a good point too, the added customization options.
Nightborne don’t have a lot of customization, this would have been a good way to add a bit more.
They should just share everything; it will satisfy the few delusional blood elf players who want the Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way hair of the void elves, and void elf players will get the excellent hair given to blood elves by the notoriously pro-Horde devs
The main people who are against sharing everything are probably blood elves, who are still mad that void elves were ever added to the game
Lmao then watch them complain about the Void Elves ruining their identity.
If they did that, they would really need to step up their game when it comes to nightborne as theyre the counterpart to void elves.
But seeing nightborne get the love they deserved would be very welcome.
This reminds me: Yesterday I read a message from my brother and how you two have patched things up. Thank you, it means a lot to us.
FF14 has way much more customization that wow, its not even a competition. They have actual scales.
No worries
When you asked me about it before i didnt realise you were an EU player so i assumed you couldnt be referring to him as its the wrong region. Thats why i was confused at the time.
And then sara (i believe it was them) said it wasnt me so i assumed you were on about something else and I mostly forgot about it haha
Let’s be real, this always should’ve been a Horde only option- or more accurately, a FORSAKEN option, to have an elven undead model. As these are not just elves, they’re undead elves. But alas, that’s not the case.
I just hope that now that we have this, we will FINALLY focus on giving more options and cool things to other races. I’m so tired of elves.
Also I’m just glad they weren’t an allied race because THAT would’ve been awful.
This.
If it wasn’t avoid elf option they’d never stop making threads about it. It’s annoying but it’s something well know to be true.
Take this L and be quiet.
Uh. I can voice my disagreement with something, just like you can. You don’t get to control what I say.
Alliance: We want actual high elves not weird void elves.
Horde: You got full on high elves.
Void elves getting treated as high elves by being allowed to also get the skin/eye addition.
Horde: But they’re just void elves!
Very hilarious.
Also it’s just a freaking skin/eye option. Not even an allied race or something that comes with anything special… Horde have more option palates in general overall with their races already and QQing on this?
