But why block anything from leveling Bgs? It’s kinda silly imo
Everyone has their reservations on it. I personally believe in keeping casual with casual, etc. If someone wants to be competitive, let them play with competitive people. Even if gear is close, people locking XP are starting to get more and more 'forged stuff, widening that gap. I’m not here to try changing your mind. I understand how you feel about it People are on here daily trying to change someone’s mind and it’s usually a wasted venture.
And I hope I typed out what I was thinking correctly. I just brewed my cup and have not sipped yet.
And I think we disagree with who/what casual actually is. Someone with heirlooms enchanted and gear in other slots up to date is far more competitively geared than an actual casual imo
I’m not saying you’re wrong on that. It’s a difficult metric to measure, I think.
I do personally only twink because I can’t compete at end game (im that bad) so yeah, I am a huge neckbeard that gets off on blowing up undergeared people. Thats the ONLY reason I twink.
Thank you for your honesty.
I think that was a bit of sarcasm. He’s got a few 2k achieves…
I know. And so was mine
We twinks just cant make it at max level unlike all these amazing anti twink posters. Man I wish I could be as good as them.
I appreciate the example as it’s somewhat relevant, but you’re tossing in variables that aren’t an issue in game. I’m going to throw out percentages ( from my experience, obviously they aren’t 100% accurate ) because I know people love that in these threads - I’d say that 80-85% of gear that twinks use is farmable, requires no monetary investment ( outside of enchants ) and that’s part of the appeal. Sure, twinks 5-6 years ago would drop thousands of gold on rare world drops, but that’s not really a thing anymore. It’s really just an investment of time and usually a pretty minimal one at that.
ps - I wish I hadn’t stopped playing MTG yeaaaaaaaaars ago, I have a couple hundred cards that I haven’t touched since like…2003?
What I meant by headstart is that I’ve seen people who have several ‘forged items on their toons. There was someone who posted a armory of someone who had full ‘forged gear. That’s fine. The average person doesn’t. During leveling, it’s not feasible or realistic to expect the average person to do that. They don’t have the same goals. They’re not expecting to jump in a BG and dominate but not get locked out. It’s a casual approach. Otherwise, the game is only fun to one group.
That’s why I’m all for ways to make it fun for everyone so nobody has to feel left out.
As far as cards, less players around here lately. Some still play but they’re not good sports, so I don’t bother.
I appreciate the honesty and sarcasm but the undertones are right on point, you twink to do exactly what you said. Good on you for admitting the facts and not hiding behind an inane post.
Preach brother! Not all of can be as great as you at max level.
It’s either I play this warrior or gank people 70 levels below me on my rogue. I always thought same level was way more fair then the max level sneak theif.
Many keks to be had.
My twink is good enough to roll people in bg’s at 19, but i really just made him to see how high i can possibly get crit chance… and my current strength is almost doubled with the crusader proc, so if i get the proc I do almost double damage, and have almost a 50% chance of critically hitting auto attack and abilities.
But i don’t do bg’s on im, I just wanted to do that… and I log in sometimes to duel lvl 19 people… Idk what the problem is. A low level BG is not to represent exactly what max level content is supposed to be,…
Who is bent out of shape about this? are you really expecting every bracket of pvp to be balanced perfectly when it isn’t even balanced at 120?
Pretty easy for you to say, in bfa gear rolling over people leveling with 20k hp.
That is life. You learn from your misfortune and grow.
You cannot win without losing.
Do you think blizzard just gave me those items?
Or do you think I learned something and adepter to my surroundings?
I could have just set around and blamed everyone else for my misfortune.
I think you want an unfair advantage and you have it, and you and people like you may very well cause new players to become frustrated, and either quit pvp or the game entirely.
How do you feel about me ganking lowbies on my 120 rogue.
Unfair how so?
RPG game you suppose to better your character.
Everyone starts at level 1 right?
WoW has lost what it was hint classic.
This not a FPS.
You are suppose to better you toon that is part knowledge/growth.
