You are all arguing that you should be allowed to continue to cheat via abusing an exploit to circumvent the separation.
I am arguing the exploit needs to be fixed.

Im arguing that the separation shouldnât have been added and then you couldnt claim âexploitâ anymore. Funny how yall make this your main point, yet yall were still crying all expac before it was considered an exploit.
Once that changes it seems your problem (and mine) will be solved.
Doesnt really matter to much in the end anyways. Classic will solve both of our problems as well. You only have to deal with them for a few more months and the casuals will have BFA for themselves.
No, it would not.
Blizzard said it right there.
XPoff in another bracket and no exploits to cheat your way back in, solves my problem.
Unless, like in another thread about PvP gear, it was equalized, and not in the fake Legion way but absolutely. I liked the suggestions about having stat sliders or equivalent. But this would be further down the road and would take a lot of work to implement if they even thought it was an idea to pursue.
Fixing the exploit is much simpler and would do wonders for the XPon BGâers.
I totally agree, and I will see you there 8)
I hope you mean in BFA because the classic devs wont care at all about your twink rants. Twinks back then were way stronger than today. You will actually get 1 shot. I dont think you will be seeing me anywhere.
I mean Classic. I wonât be getting one shot eitherâŚ
XdâŚthe exploit is a side affect of them adding the separation. How on Earth do you think weâd not complain about people abusing the exploit when they would all be able to freely do what the exploit does? LolâŚyou are all sorts of backwards my man.
I also disagree with the severity of twinks between now and back in the day. It does depend on the bracket you refer to, but a Double Tap Aimed Shot is worse than anything I can recall from back then. Not only that, it was much easier for everyone to get reasonable gear comparable to twinks, or even twink gear.
Thats why.
Gear is easier to get than ever now. Theres no way getting gear in vanilla was easier for the non twinks than today. They literally have a tab that creates gear for their level.
It really depends on the bracket. 110s in BfA gear create a big gap, but itâs a separate bracket for only that level already.
In other brackets, many of the really over the top items have been nerfed as have enchants and even food buffs. Itâs not nearly as bad as it was. If someone does zero prep before entering group content, yeah, theyâll have a bad time because pretty much everybody will stomp them.
There are many options for gear. I listed some *and see the post above. Plus, they can use the xp guy too, if they actually want to gear. You spend 10 gold to turn xp off, gather the stuff you want, spend 10 gold to turn xp back on and queue up. 20 gold for lots of nice gear thatâs good for all types of content while leveling? Yes, please.
A visitor isnât around very long then, so why ruin it for the people who will be around? Someone posted previously that itâs like letting tourists come to town and make all the laws. They leave but the residents are still bound by the changes the visitors wanted. That would be dumb, yes?
Iâm talking BiS, not heirloom that youâve already purchased.
Thatâs an enormous waste of time for anyone not planning on sticking around as a twink. Youâll out-level that gear in no time!
Because they ruin it for ALL of the visitors passing through. Itâs not like itâs just 1 person for some small amount of time. Itâs every other player, in every battleground. If you want to cheat via the exploit, you should be banned. If you want to twink to have an unfair advantage, you should have to play other twinks.
Even if they only affect 1 person rarely, itâs not right and they should not be allowed to continue. This is nothing like tourists and localsâŚ
getting BiS before the first separation required you to know at what level you could start the quest lines for pieces of gear you may need from quests. There was no xp eliminator so you had to be well prepared. Theres no dungeon finder so you cant just queue up. You needed to get carried doing death dungeon runs to be sure you didnt level out the bracket. Theres no way getting BiS was easier for levelers NOR the twinks. It was much harder for both sides.
Most of the BiS was BoE.
Someone earlier said gear is too expensive. I put forward a more affordable option (if they actually want gear). Running a dungeon and other options donât require an âenormousâ amount of time anyway.
Itâs called playing the game. Group content should require a bit more effort than running around solo doing whatever. It does in every other part of the game.
Not true. Not everyone demands to have all obstacles removed so they can queue up wearing vendor trash. Plenty of levelers have quest/crafted gear, heirlooms, and some do have dungeon gear.
I donât cheat or condone it.
I see, but itâs okay for them to affect people and keep others from playing their toons at all. Do you really think thatâs the best way?
Sure it is. People who are just passing through shouldnât dictate things for everyone else.
None of which can compete with nearly all of these twinks weâre discussing. Besides, someone âplaying the gameâ wouldnât end up with twink gear. Twinking takes a tremendous amount more time/gold.
I think the best solution is to make things fair for everyone. Seems reasonable, no?
The only matching part of that analogy is how the players are temporary. Aside from that, thereâs no commonality between tourists visiting a city and players fighting twinks in battlegrounds. Iâm sorry, I just donât see the meat of that analogy.
I just want to say that if they toss twinks into their own bracket, then they wouldnât necessarily be twinks.
Thatâs already happened, likeâŚyears ago, lol. And they kind of still are twinks, but also kind of not. I think it depends on how you perceive the definition of a twink. Is it someone who has the best possible gear at a specific, lower level? Or do they need to be unnecessarily overpowered compared to the competition? Iâd wager most people include the latter in their own definitions, so you might be right!
Didnât you call someone out on max level pvp yet they have better ratings than you?
Low level Bgs⌠fair game⌠should probably queue max level if you want fair.
