Even with all your help, thank you btw, I still don’t understand the appeal of Twinking. By that statement is that end game pvp is still being dominated by over geared vs fresh pvp because of gear… making it no different then twinks. All I see is that the gap is far wider at lower levels then at end game thus nullifying the argument twinks are doing it to challenge other twinks.
I am not used to the extremely sensitive general forums where i come from that’s something called banter.
Ah, the glory days of 19 twink rogues with 4 abilities, besides stealth, rocking 1.2k hp and 60% dodge. What a brain dead way to play.

Yet, just a few thousand xp later and they will be out of your bracket, so no reason to grab BiS unless youre twinking. This isnt a Your way or the highway situation anymore, thankfully.
At max, everyone will get better gear as they go along naturally, they dont have to go into their setting and stop any xp gains to build themselves up. If its literally the same to you then get to 120 and enjoy entire BGs of “twinks”. If not, then enjoy your Twink ques at 59 while levelers enjoy their leveling BG ques.
And as typical, you are only thinking of your fun and not theirs. I know it might be hard to see it from the other side but I am sure non twinks didn’t find it all that fun. And as we now can see they made up the majority of the leveling players doing BGs, Blizzard sided with them.

I can only speak for the 119 bracket but the difference there is the same as a geared 120 vs a fresh 120. The only difference is the geared 120 becomes stronger and needs more time invested as the xpac goes on.
I don’t want to have a gear reset every 3 months.
The way you’re talking down to people seems like it comes from a place of emotion.

If you’re pro-Twinks in regular BG’s… can you tell me why you’re pro-Twinks? The only logical conclusion I can come up with is because you want to face people who aren’t twinked out like you are.
For months, I have been queuing up not even as a fully geared twink, as a person in full questing greens and blues, but exp off at 119, and I can tell you right now, Twinks are so rare in bgs, most of the time it’s one by themselves, yeah they kill some people, but don’t tip the scale in a bg by any means, especially a 15man map.
What does, everyone being 118/119, doing their role, being productive, instead you got these 111s, fresh levelers, that didn’t play in legion, item level less than 200, join a bg with their 35k health, get 2 shotted by a 118 that’s just attacking normally, go to the forums, and CRY CRY CRY CRY CRY. Big Bad Twink killed me, no he didn’t someone leveling did, they deleted you, and now you want justice.
Well this is what happens when the masses are trash and get their way. It happened with CRZ, it happened with LFR, it happened with 10man Raiding, It happened with World PVP, it happened with the Loot System, it happened with the Talent system, it happened with the amount of abilities we have, it happened with the weapon skill system, it happened with racial abilities, it happened with the hit rating system, it happened when Flex raids were introduced, it happened when titanforging was introduced, it happened when reforging was taken away, and now they’re making all twink subs unsubscribe. Congrats, you win, enjoy this trashcan while it lasts.

Someone being higher ilvl than me doesn’t ruin my playing experience. It’s actually pretty simple to understand, or should be if you actually tried for a moment.

If you want to play that game, I am confident they have lost more subs because of twinks bullying people out of bg’s than they have lost from twinks themselves.
Net gain for Blizzard this way.

I can only speak for myself but i enjoy it because it’s one of the few parts of the game where Best in Slot is possible. In the 119 bracket the difference between a 119 twink and a 119 leveler is functionally the same as a geared 120 vs a fresh 120.
I don’t know about you but i became tired of having my gear reset every 3 months when they roll out another “part 1 part 2” of some patch.
There was a metric ton of those stupid videos after World Of Roguecraft showcased it.
The only non-twink players that join low level BGs are those that don’t know twinking is a thing or are masochistic. Once the ones that don’t know get destroyed by a twink they don’t tend to ever go back. You won’t see much of a difference except you can no longer commit cold-blooded murder on players that don’t stand a chance.

Well i don’t know. If i recall correctly back in wrath we had around 12million players and twinking was a thing. Must not have been driving people away.
