Twinks in their separate Q's - Don't let them get away with this

The thing is, there is no difference between a twink and a max level except content restrictions.

This is inherently untrue and its because of this

You stop advancing so you get gear to make you better.

Only you, as a twink are stopping at a certain, non level cap bracket and then gearing to be stronger while no one else is capped or geared because they are leveling through it.

Your level 59 bracket is nothing like max level bracket. There is tons of potential progress, you chose to stop and attack people who are progressing.

No, its called balance, if you wanna “twink” and have a huge advantage over others, you can play with those same players.

4 hour queues isn’t a problem. That just means you do not have enough players to engage in PVP with. That isn’t Blizzard’s issue. That is on you.

YOU need to convince people to make Twinks and queue up. If people don’t want to play in XP off brackets, you can’t force them to.

You chose to turn your XP off. You get an XP off bracket. If you turn it on, you get put into the XP on bracket.

Blizzard hasn’t taken anything away from you. Your community isn’t large enough to support itself. That’s not on Blizzard. Blizzard has given you the playgrand. Go find other people to come play.

Not exactly. It would force them to stop gearing toward specific stats, e.g. Rogues trying to get crit percentage at or above 50% so that they can get massive Ambush/Shadowstrike crits with little to no risk to them. Instead of that, the Rogue would have to focus on getting crit to 25% and then maybe haste to 25%.

They’d still outgear their competition, but the values wouldn’t be so extreme that the non-twink players would be getting taken down in a single hit, or in the span of one or two global cooldowns.

People in BGs don’t mind dying – what they do mind is not having a fair chance at someone in the same level bracket as them 1v1.

Exploiting the system, Twinking has been around since Vanilla you tool, the tears of the losers joinng bgs at the bottom of a bracket, has only gotten worse recently.

I played lowbie bg’s all day long yesterday. Queues seemed pretty normal to me.

It was that way in Legion. With BfA’s pre-patch, item levels were squished and PvP templates were discontinued.

Was removed, which is why twinks are back into their own brackets. Enchants and trinkets were even disabled, they aren’t anymore.

But as the game advanced, brackets changed bud. I’m technically the max level in my bracket which anyone could also do. When you pvp at max, unless everyone is BiS, your also fighting people who are progressing. Its literally the same.

Shut up, all queues are longer now, because of this change, there are plenty of twinks in all brackets, but certain brackets suffer more, the problem is 4 hour queues.

Especially when you have so many other options to get experience.

Congratulations on getting to the bottom of that mystery. Now we all know when twinks started exploiting the system. If you could pin down the exact date we could make a holiday of it… or would it be a solemn day of remembrance? I’m not sure… just another mystery to solve I suppose.

Low level bgs are not dead . My bg queues haven’t even gone up in average times. Twinks are such a small population of low levels bgs, which is weird considering they can change the entire course of the game with just 1 of them. They do deserve their own bracket, especially after stat templates were removed as that one EU CM said.

Sounds like a good time for the Twinks to community up and build themselves up. Make alts at each of the brackets and play together. If the only source of fun a twink was getting was from one-shotting levelers then the change was needed. Now they have their own space they can do whatever they want with.

Right. Now, it’s purely based on gear, so depending on how dedicated someone is, they can reach absurd stat percentages if they know what they’re doing.

Well, it is a two sided coin. Listening to people complain and complain like they were getting pitted against nothing but a team of twinks doesn’t support the idea that twinks are the minority. So which is it? Were twinks just a random occurrence that people blew out of proportion for the sake of dramatizing their whining or are they a substantial part of low level PvP?
