And get booted afk when your team finds out what you’re doing.
By the way, you get xp no matter what you do in BGs now.

I you were such a “large” group of subs, why is the que so long? I’m not sure why they made this change. But I get how it wouldn’t be fun at all to 1 or 2 shotted in BGs.
Oh noooooo, twinks in their own que, how terrible.
I’ll be sure to do all I can to help you all.
Blinks
Welp, that’s all I got, Enjoy your new que.
Classic is around the corner. Till then, deal with it. They won’t be destroying brackets any longer in retail.
With your horrible logic Blizzard should remove LFR because queue times suck.
If I could share some of my common sense with you I would. Did you ever notice how players complain about queue times for max level battlegrounds? If you didn’t, well, they did. So Blizzard made an attempt to fix the issue by putting in merc mode, it helped. Blizzard has yet to fix all the issues that other players complain about, such as queues for LFR and dungeons, they simply haven’t added a merc mode for PvE yet.
Lets also not forget they mixed Oceanic servers with US server queues because Oceanic servers queues sucked, we should separate those again also by your logic.
Blizz doesn’t like people doing too much non BFA content. Sad that they do this.
Keep em out of the regular queue. This is a good change. Glad they came to their senses and reverted it back.
I played twink pvp on a mobile mmo for several years. Some of the best gaming times of my life. Then the developers proceeded to systematically destroy every twink bracket through a series of poor decisions despite protests on the forums. Sorry to say this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if blizzard did they same thing
Agreed. Its along the same mentality of those who gank low levels, a desire to have a statistical superiority over those who have no chance of fighting back.
I’m so happy I can level in bg’s again. Ty Blizzard I love you.
Honestly, I think and dabble in high level PvP. It’s a mix of things that’s enticing to me. (Killing lesser geared players happens just as much at high level if you just spend the time gearing up imo).
Personally I enjoy the ability to play a class and work towards BiS items. Occasionally i have to get new stuff but I’m personally not a fan of the wf/TF system. I loved PvP at 70/80/85 when I could work toward specific pieces. Not play the rng game.
Aside from the gearing aspect, I also enjoy the simpler build of the class (as an example I have a 120 rogue and a 19 rogue, ive played a 110 priest and have a 49 priest). Having access to some talents and a part or all of the core of a class (why I personally like 49s, also mount speed).
I also do like the challenge of positioning and knowing what’s overextending vs. safe play, which all PvP has.
I even personally even enjoy smashing PvE content with twinks, even if it’s nothing more than showing off to other players. If I could do raids at the levels I like, I would.
Like I’ve said before, in some cases such as 19s and 29s, twinks still queue fine. Any other bracket isn’t so much the case. And imo for most other brackets there isn’t a huge discrepancy from twinks to players who give a darn (and don’t have empty slots or white gear) - save for a few outliars which I think blizzard should be responsible for fixing (elemental force, lack of early level interrupts, and several other things blizz put in the game that keep that unbalanced).
The reason I’m not okay with the separation isnt because I dont think there is issues, or even because people just need to “git gud”, it’s because in many cases it’s taking away a style of gameplay that people enjoy, with a huge lack of communication mind you, as a “fix” to issues blizzard just doesn’t give a hoot or holler about.
If I could have 10 minute queues as a twink and only go against twinks I’d be game. Aside from 19-29 brackets, which seem to be doing better than the rest at peak times, I do need other players that aren’t twinks. Do I want to go back to wear white items for ilvl, hell no. But there is plenty blizz could do (DR on stats, better availability of quality gear from non dungeon sources, ilvl template for lower ilvl too) and they chose not to.
I’d rather blizzard fine a real solution rather than splitting the community even more.
Good God! I actually thought this thread would be poofed away by now. I leave for work this morning, run some errands, and come home, and this thread is still on going.
Need to divert some of this attention to the “New” twink queue getting other like minded players hyped up and ready to face one another.
The issue is, unlike pretty much any other community, there won’t really be new blood trickling in.
High level PvP isn’t split. M+ isn’t split, raiding isn’t split. Xpoff/on is.
I made a twink because I saw someone else do it. I thought it was a cool idea and decided myself to try it. This was in vanilla with like, fiery weapons and +agi and all that.
Leveling players might not even know that’s a thing. That there is this shadow-queue for xpoff. Especially without even a note of the sense. Ive met player who didnt even know you could turn xpoff!
Fresh blood is important for every community, especially in MMOs.
Is Blizz still trying to appeal to new players with this move? Maybe they should care about their veteran players at this point IMO.
You started it with your condescending post, how do you think a wow player is going to respond?
And the problem with twinks is that you’re actively making the game more difficult for that Fresh blood. That fresh blood being the new players you’re massacring.
Personally I hope it dies.
You use the argument of the only reason the low-level bracket pvp is alive is because of twinks, and I call bull. I know TONS of people who AVIDLY AVOID PvP while they level because they don’t want to get throttled.
I’m sure that’ll change now that twinks are separated from it, because now people can actually enjoy the low-level brackets.
I was once against twinks.
But then I realized gaming is gaming and that end game for every expansion isn’t everything. Plus, BFA has the worst end game in the history of the game.
I support people doing non BFA content currently 100%.
Good, let them have their own place! Its annoying to get into a bg and have a twink one shot you. It feels like your more upset your not op anymore, and you have to get better at your class.
Listen, I am all for players being able to play a game the way they like, but clearly it was causing way more ire among the Warcraft players then it caused good.
Sorry, that’s just how it is.
It sucks for one side or the other, either your on the side happy for these changes “Yippee” or on the other “Boo”. It was just a matter of time before something was done to remedy the problem.
With the complaints piling up on the forums one side was bound to be sad.
Maybe, with enough push people who like to twink can rally a large enough group so that the new separate queue times wont be so bad.
Best wishes
