Twinks in their separate Q's - Don't let them get away with this

twinks are mad cause they are being killed by other twinks and they can’t one shot other people

thats rly precious

Crusty this is the problem with the cognitive dissonance among players like you.

A separate queue for twinks is essentially removing the rbg button from these players. The queues won’t happen. AND if that IS the intention, then blizzard should just outright disallow xp off players from pvping period then.

This sounds harsh, but this is the reality with what they just did. They killed twink pvping, but they don’t want to look like dewche bags by outright banning twinks for pvping so they just marginalize them. This is what shady people do in all aspects of life, and if you are ok with this then just outright say it instead of hopscotching around your disingenuous moral arguments.

I don’t twink, but this method of handling twinking is stupid and doesn’t really fix the problem. It’s lazy and shadily cuts out a segment of players from doing what they like to do.

like for real, if the people on these forums were just real for a second and straight up said “I think twinking is wrong, and twinks shouldn’t be allowed to pvp” then i’d be easier to understand each side instead of having to wallow through these half-baked “arguments” as to why separate queues are good.

hate twinking all you want, my intentional gripe is with segregating queues in random battlegrounds. It’s just a bad practice in general.

Why won’t the queues happen? Because there’s not enough twinks or because twinks only enjoyed pvp’ing against non-twinks?

and yet you can’t refute anything the original or the picture poster have stated.

The question none of the twinks in this thread will answer with any semblance of honesty.

Spoiler: The answer is “both”.

This is the general uniformed knee jerk reaction to anyone bringing up this issue. I wish i could frame this and hang it on my wall.

I’m hoping they implement a gank policy where if you use your 120 to destroy some 60 trying to complete his honor hold quest your character gets rooted in place for an hour.
Then I’m looking forward to 120’s coming here to complain about how ganking is an important and viable component of the game and everyone is going to unsub without it.

So if you can only queue with other twinks, what’s the issue?

If there were still 12 million people playing this game then splitting the population wouldn’t be an issue. We’re far past that unfortunately.

LMAO @ this! I remember when the twinks were prominent, or at least being dominated by the opposing team, was so bad that they had to literally make the GY a step down so that you can’t get camped in the GY whilst everyone stays a ghost. If twinks are so important to low-level gameplay, then how come things like this happened? All it means is you decided to farm/purchase the best gear possible for said level cap and do serious damage to someone who hasn’t, but will openly verbally assault those who don’t on the forums simply because you’re upset of being stuck in a cage with the other tigers and not with those who are leveling and just want to have a good time in a BG while doing so.

This is incorrect again.

Ganking is a part of World PvP. A lvl 60 can turn off WM and then can continue to level untouch doing the exact same content they did before.

There’s nothing the level 60 can “turn off” to avoid doing the exact same content they did before and still avoid twinks.

So your issue is that there’s too few of you? Well then, sorry - Blizzard shouldn’t cater to such a small minority of players who aren’t even enough to form a queue of their own BGs at the cost of the larger playerbase’s leveling enjoyment.

What are you talking about?

Are you an mmo noob?

I’ve played tons of mmos. Guild Wars 1/2, Eq 1/2, Lineage 2, Lotro, Rift, AoC, Aion, BDO, CoH, CO, etc etc

In all these games that had the random battleground format, TWINKS WERE A THING. It’s an inherent feature in the format. It IS what PLAYERS WANT.

RBGS have a varied skill and gear level among players and that the sacrifice players make for accessible and easy to initiate “pvp on-demand”.

Not everyone wants a challenging pvp fight. Those that do, do arena/rating pvp. a majority of the playerbase loves to smash lower levels and newbies and they get their fix through rbgs.

Your problem is that twinks take each bracket to the max possible in gearing, and in doing so makes they incredibly overpowered compared to the average player in heirlooms. That’s not the fault of twinks. That’s the fault of blizzard for balancing the game so badly. It’s a damn no brainer that a player who spends one week in the 40-49 bracket with their character, is going to have an advantage over you who spent a mere 2 hours in that bracket.

I could help but im too busy drinking your tears.

If it’s a “majority of the playerbase” how come there isn’t a ton of players advocating for this?

And no, the select group that enjoys this game by feeding on the misery of others is not in the best spirit any game and don’t feel bad for people like that getting kicked to the curb.

I dont do a lot of low level battlegrounds at all. mostly because its just a horrible experience. now, on my Horde levelers its not all that bad, but on Alliance…wholly ROFLTSTMP, Batman. i spend more time in the gy than i do playing in the BG. its just a horrible experience.

so glad this is happening. i would rather wait an hour for a BG than the normal crap fest that they are now…especially for Alliance.

i am literally thrilled when i get to level cap because, at least, Alliance wins and loses at a decent rate. personally, i think its has to do with they type of players that are on Alliance. when it is a strong PvE objective (the epic BGs) We do very well. when you have to actually fight the horde…Alliance just fails. in low level BGs that experience is multiplied tenfold with the addition of twinks.

glad for this change.

I wouldn’t even call it them getting kicked to the curb. Preferential treatment for Twinks, I say.

They’re being given their own VIP club where they can play with like-minded folks who enjoy a similar playstyle.

The only folks who still get that kind of special treatment is us RPers with our RP servers. Twinks should be grateful to be getting their own VIP club. I know I’m grateful for having RP servers.

When are we gonna get RP-only Battlegrounds where you get deserter if you can’t emote at 100WPM? C’mon, Blizz! The competitive RP community is languishing here.

A maximum character full-paragraph emote should count for at least 20 honor points.

If that were true, the twinks wouldn’t be screaming that they can’t find enough people to launch a single WSG battle.
