can we please stop this from happening, im tired of trying to introduce people into warcraft and show them pvp only to que into players exploiting
if you were a good friend you’d gear up those new recruits before introducing them to pvp.
i love how i can borderline summon you by mentioning twinks
Weird. When I introduce friends to WoW through the F2P trial I specifically tell them to stay away from low level PvP. So strange that now that the queues are merged with twinks there’s just SOOOOO many people trying to show their friends the stellar experience that was low level PvP.
twinks, partysync and how to compete with both while leveling. i have all the info.
how many of your new player friends did you drag into the first 2 brackets with empty slots?
i haven’t levled in years and i was like hey wow pvp is a great part.
most slots were filled with dungeon and quest gear to answer your question.
we all know that wont stop aimed shots and arcane missiles one shoting.
this experience needs to be more accessible.
in the interest of bringing in fresh blood we should encourage a better experience.
its is great if you’re prepared for it.
stamina is the number one pvp stat at every level.
I call BS. Nobody introduces new people to WoW.
I hear the OP and their frustration, but this has been frustrating for a long time, even back in OG Classic WoW (2004 launch). I remember in 2005 in WSG seeing Rogues with BoE blue swords or daggers (they were $$$ in AH) and green or purple glowing weapons. I don’t remember the glowing color, but they would mow you down with literally 2-3 presses of buttons. Hunters were even crazier from ranged than Rogues, but the annoying part was Rogues were stealthy. Both were about as annoying as you could get.
Casters didn’t have that kind of overpowered aspect as low-level gear didn’t have spell power, but Frost Mages were pretty annoying if they leveraged rank 1 Frostbolt. As you got closer to the level cap, caster twinks started to scale beyond many classes/specs.
TLDR;
This has been random BG from way back in the day, and yes, it’s beyond annoying, but just the way it is. Take advice from others, run some dungeons and certain quests with blues for your friends, and instead of getting 1 shot you would be surprised how much more durable and playable PvP is. Oh and some blues from the AH and enchants, sucks but that will make it more fun vs others that do it
Going up against 19 and 29 twinks is the equivalent of your friends just hitting 60 and going up against duelists at max-level. It seems like the f2p PvP experience finally mirrors max-level PvP. Seems to me that this is preparing them for their future in WoW.
Yummy <3 <3
NO! You know twinks vs. levelers is unfair plain and simple.
There’s still new players, they just don’t touch PvP, at least not until max level.
yeah but does no one see that as a major issue. Like why cant we have a friendly experience to ease people into pvp? lets be honest we need new blood and this isnt helping =/
you got killed by twinks when you were new and you’re still here.
yess… oneeee plusss Onnneee isss twooooo
LFM WarGames
At least you dont exploit like that P head
Are you sure you were queing into twinks and not party syncs? or even just players using crafted gear while playing an obnoxiously scaled class?
This is hilarious
