LMAO this post is pathetic
I agree with the general premise of what youâve said. I donât feel the generalization of xp-on players not being willing to, âwill not farmâ, for gear is a wise one to make, but I think I understand where youâre coming from.
Iâve never called people who are leveling lazy and I wonât ever do it. After leveling through BfA and grinding all the rep I can say itâs not something I care to do again. I respect the people who are able to do so. Perhaps I could be considered âlazyâ by that group of people, who knows? I would certainly prefer to spend my gaming time doing other things. In the end itâs a matter of different priorities; the xp-off player is prioritizing getting BiS gear at a given level and works toward that goal. I assume xp-on players have prioritized leveling, or at least have it as a goal, and are working toward that. Both groups of players are investing their game time into achieving a goal theyâve set, i.e. working toward something.

If the gear isnât worth farming because it will be worthless in a few hours/days, then why are twinks a big deal to that person anyway? Theyâll just level past them in a few hours/days and then theyâll have better gear.
These types of arguments are weak, and they are bullcrap excuses.
âIâm leveling, PvP isnât important enough to me to get gear because it will be useless soonâ.
âOMG, REMOVE ANYONE WHO HAS BETTER GEAR THAN ME IN PVP WHILE LEVELING, PEOPLE ARE QUITTING BECAUSE OF IT!â
It just doesnât make sense. Is PvP that important to you or isnât it? Got people talking out both sides of their mouth.
Also Iâm pretty sure theyâve done other stuff besides the seperate queues.
Iâve been trying to get a game on my level 18 warlock for days and the BG popped once a few days ago. Average battletime is claims is like 12-14 minutes, Iâll wait 30-45 minutes before giving up.
Itâs not locked, but it also doesnât want to give me a battleground. Apparently my gear is too good or something, I wish they would let me know exactly how crappy they expect my gear to be before Iâm allowed to PVP.
I have just heirloom gear and a few enchants. Not even good enchants on most of them, except for my necklace which has a satyr on it.
My wife logs into her account with a level 12, only in heirloom and no enchants - gets a battle in 6 minutes.
At any rate, 1 battle in 4 days ainât keeping my business. Itâs too bad they didnât put this âupgradeâ out a few days earlier, I would have just been a 1 month and done account.
Yes. Theyâll level out of bracket x, where twinks are present, into bracket y, where twinks are also present. This isnât a difficult concept.
RE Your other messy ramblings: Brackets arenât segregated by gear, theyâre separated according to whether or not the player has elected to shut off his experience gain. All this isnât doing your credibility any favors.
Donât let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. See you next patch.
While this sucks thatâs still too easy to abuse they need to just nurf twinking till it pointless again.
That should fix it.
Played a few on my 20s leveler tonight. Players still donât defend. They still donât call incoming. Some games are total blowouts. Healers top damage. Class stacking happens (BfG with 5 rogues and 3 warriors). And in one game, a mage actually left before it ended to avoid the bonus honor, but the game was already won by they time they left so it made no difference.
Oof
Iâm surprised I missed that typo, last time Iâm on the forums drunk.
Itâs the same even in the higher levels, twinks donât fix this issue as most (not all) will just kill people mid the whole game while ignoring objectives. Low level PvP is so broken even without the Twinks. Healer damage like you said is out of control, my Shaman can top damage with just the fire dot.
I really hope Blizzard balances things a tad so some specs are not so OP in the lower levels while others canât compete.
Blizzard plans to ignore low level PvP balance just like they have for 14 years. Removing twinks fixes nothing.
Yep the cycle still continues
I must have been lucky to not get these twinks who ignored objectives.
It does not change at 120.
There will always be classes OP at low level. Why do you think twinks rush to FOTM. Itâs the thrill of domination.
What part of my reply said it did?
Iâve seen it said that since separation, games are players doing objectives, no emoting or flags (saw a flag planted in one of my first games after separation), no gy camping and games are even. That has not been my experience playing 3 different brackets. Games feel the same.
They are the same.
Ok, so what you are saying is there is a point at which they are no longer leveling so fast and they should probably spend more effort getting gear?
Canât really have it both ways. Besides, you donât have to have the best gear available in every slot to be competitive. If you actually did BGâs alot and used that gear, itâs very competitive. If they wanted an actual reasonable fix, they should just increase the BG reward rate to match the leveling rate increase.
And itâs not as if every game results in lopsided victories. And I can tell you that having competitive gear doesnât stop you from getting farmed either, EVERYONE gets farmed from time to time if you are doing PUGs. If you have low gear just stick with the zerg.
I hope the next patch is soon or their wonât be any worries on the rest. Iâve been back for 2 months, went from pretty happy and spending money to not happy at all. Even my wife is complaining now about not getting BGâs for long periods of time, and she wouldnât even know what enchants to buy and just has heirloom gear.
I donât see how anyone who actually plays for the PvP and not easy XP can be happy about the changes.
Thatâs exactly how I play and Iâm extremely happy about the changes. Skill>gear as it should be in PvP.
Queues have been great np here.
Skill > gear will never be a thing at low levels. Considering max level randoms arenât even balanced
