I’m sure the people doing this have just leveled a few classes to 10, swapping heirloom gear among them. It doesn’t take much to “twink” a 10-19 BG.
They should have just left all the twinks in 10-19. That bracket is such a crap show even without the twinks.
These grown people throwing fits, unsubbing, threatening to “get even” and “Ill show you” replies
Sounds a lot like levelers last week.
So I still believe the majority of BfA’s twinks are the kinds of players who are not that great at max level PvP - or don’t want to make the effort - and much prefer the easier route of converting gold to make something overpowered, without the bother and time it takes to group and “do the work” at 120 for the corresponding highest max level gear power.
This is why I would love to see PvP vendors both gathered into a single area (old SW/Org honor halls would work great) and revamped to sell complete gear sets for each bracket. I see no reason why I shouldn’t be able to mail a stack of marks of honor that do almost nothing for my 120 to my alt and use them to instead gear said alt.

Last week? Try the last 6 months, probably longer
Agree with all of this, and would add one thing: in lower brackets you actually have a fight, not a CC competition.
All this means is, when I go in with whites and nekked - you are now the twink - I hope you don’t chase and kill me in these BGs - I want to go in wearing a dress as a plate user - because, well, I like dresses but want to be a paladin too - so I had to do both. You better scale down your leveler-twink to conform with my social gameplay now.
lol what? Nobody is saying that. What is being said is that the margin between someone with standard heirlooms w/level-appropriate blues and someone with expensively-enchanted heirlooms w/BiS items shouldn’t be as wide. My preferred solution would be to provide PvP-only ways to obtain a roughly similar (if not quite as good) gear level.
This entire conversation blows my mind - you guys say you want to level through a BG - but you lose 40 to 60% of your games and don’t get good xp at all when you lose. So if you want to level through a BG, why wouldn’t you find ways to improve your experience? This game gives so many ways to improve your chances of winning - why not do them?
Your reasoning works if any given bracket naturally lasted a long time to levelers, but that’s not the case. If I’m only going to be in a bracket for 15-20 games, why would I grind out BiS items from dungeons? It’s a bad time investment for a leveler, plain and simple.
Do you use the free saltwater potion pots you get from honor? No, you don’t. Do you create macros, or ask to put the Mark on Healers at the beginning of the match to protect the healers - no, you don’t.
Do you stay with the objectives and try to assist the win - lol no.
Do they use research and use add-ons like Capping and BattlegroundEnemies to improve their chances of winning - no, they never do.
I can’t speak for all levelers, but I do all of those things in BGs. Unwillingness to burn time and gold on transient brackets is not an indicator of how good a player is or how hard they play during games. In fact I’m often the only one going after the flag or trying to cap bases while the rest of the team (sometimes twinks included) are screwing around midfield trying to get kills or fighting on the roads.

Yeah I can’t remember a time when 10-19 wasn’t a raging crapshow.
Among like 300 sub-par IQ posts screaming about how the twinks are rising up against gamer oppression and watching Kangmurloc being a living cringe compilation, your post has convinced me to some degree some actual reasons why people twink and why some people are actually mad queues being unmerged.
Its 2019 and Segregation is still happening. I can’t believe this is still going on , I thought more of Blizzard , treating Xpoff characters like 2nd class citizen. Separating us from Xpon characters like we don’t belong there. We are just as important.
Lol this company doesn’t care about the playerbase if it did we would have pvp vendors and 120 would be fun
someone with standard heirlooms w/level-appropriate blues and someone with expensively-enchanted heirlooms w/BiS items shouldn’t be as wide.
Someone with standard enchanted heirlooms and level appropriate gear is not a wide gap from twinks. That’s why I didn’t have as much of an issue.
If your a level, why are you even in a bg in the first place if your goal is to level?
Theres no skill ezpeez pve thatll help you level faster than what one bg would.
You just don’t want to have to compete with players that took a week tops to gear out their toons at a certain bracket when you could easily do the same within a few hours with looms and enchanting them and doing 1 or 2 dungeons inbetween your bgs

It’s a fun way to level

Juga covered it pretty well but in my case there are particular brackets where questing/dungeons sucks more than usual and BGs become the more pleasant leveling route.

I don’t see why PvE is necessary to be competitive at PvP at low levels. That hasn’t been a problem in max level PvP since what, Cata? Why can’t I instead use my PvP-earned marks of honor to gear competitively for PvP at low levels?

They do have it but I think it starts at level 58?

Yeah, levels below that are full of holes. The other problem is that for several xpacs, the PvP vendors are out in the middle of nowhere instead of in a main city, which no doubt reduces the number of levers who use the gear they sell. I bet many don’t even know those vendors exist.
levelers just need to grow up and stop being pissbabies
Yet again, Blizz destroy’s options.
Fun detected inc nerf right?
I didn’t find it very fun.

Youre not entitled to win every BG. Getting to 120 isnt difficult and its balanced there
