All of that sounds pretty unintended. Taking advantage of unintended mechanics can get you smacked for cheating, even when done unintentionally. When done intentionally that sounds like a behavior they’ve decided isn’t okay.

Boosting is allowed. See classic. Era’s and even now cata. Our boosting was still allowed even after antiboost code.
If one was banned, it be for not advertising in the right channel. trade chat, not /4.
because the pure, holy way in which the game was intended to be played and balanced around does not bless them by the Light of creation.
FWIW, I agree when it comes to the macro, it’s a one-button fix for a debuff that’s by all means supposed to be there. You could argue it for the manual on/off in/out thing but I think it’s less clear already.
But if PvP Premades aren’t bannable, then syncing PvE queues wouldn’t be either, no matter how much they don’t like it.
It also comes down to proving it. If it’s not blatantly every day the same group type stuff what sets it apart from just running into someone and deciding to keep chain queueing? Specifically for the queue sync stuff, I mean. Obviously the macro they can check logs I’d imagine.

God forbid other people should have fun. You must lay awake at night thinking other people are doing life wrong and should be stopped, both the twinks and the overwhelming majority who disagree with you and thinks you are dead wrong.

That wasnt what happened in our discussion.
You needed to be correct every time I told you I was talking about a different approach to how to facilitate conversation and greater change.
The notion to contact a support team to find out why the person in my original post that was banned. Had very little to do with the issue at hand.
I was condeacending to you because every time you said you were done with the conversation, you had to have the last word no matter what I said.

You were spreading misinformation about AI banning and looking for policy clarification. You said your post was about your guildie’s fate and you were after tangible clarity. I told you that CS is for policy questions and your guildie needs to appeal. You denied as such and claimed your were in a better position.
You were given information that you decided to ignore.
As to my character… yes, it shows that I give information on how the system works, which I went into great detail about.
You chose to ignore it. I told you I hope things work out with your guildie.

There were multiple posts on the forums of going in queue, landing in a group and being told to pay for a carry or get kicked.
OF COURSE whoever gets votekicked for that should report it. Great news that it passed the threshold for GMs to pay attention and action it. Even better news that it sounds like an immediate permaban happened.
Twinking isn’t even a factor in the ban in that case.

It’s not that they hate twinks, it’s that they were clearly abusing an exploit, and got punished for it. Now I do agree that blizzard is very vague as to what they consider is and isn’t an exploit. Along with are very loose with these ban waves when it comes to exploits.
Yet its reasonable to expect and understand that a group that isn’t getting the xp lock penalty is going to result in an action. Given its clearly not working as intended, and continuing to intentionally abuse a faulty mechanic will always result in a ban, twink or not.
Now as for whether people hate twinks that’s up for debate, personally I side with their fine when it’s not PvP. When it’s PvP they are truly problematic with how they can easily oneside a match by being both invulnerable and do a TON of damage with little to no effort. PvP twinks are not fun at all to play against in random BG’s, and it’s only fun when your a twink too and can actually stand on equal footing to them. As for PvE I don’t care as much, as long as they don’t act as a detriment to the run, then I’m fine with going along for the ride. Some don’t like the break neck pace due it making them feel left out, or feel like they can’t enjoy the story. Yet ultimately they have all the power at their fingertips to simply make their own group to run it at the pace they want to if it really bothers them that much.

Because some of us play the game to - and you might want to sit down for this - PLAY the GAME. Running after the wake of dead bodies left by a level 11 one-shotting everything isn’t playing the game.
