I’m trying to restore a deleted character. I see him and it gives me the option but then it says I already have a character with that name.
Is there another way I can restore my deleted character?
Delete the active character that has the same name.

But its a 120…I don’t want to delete that character.
You can do a couple things. Ekon grabbed one.
You can also use a paid rename on the active, and then undelete the old one.
If you want your active one to keep that name, I’d suggest putting in a ticket to ask for help, but expect to still pay to get one of the characters renamed.

If someone else took that name would I just be out of luck? Wouldn’t my restored character be flagged for a name change?
That name will be preserved to that account for some time so no one else can snag it - at least on a higher level character.

Sadly, no. it’s a loop-hole people tried to use to avoid paying for a name change. you must change that toons name that has the deleted characters name to restore.
